After following instruction and trying to place it on my pool (hooks aren’t quite big enough for my 22”x52” Coleman pool) it is crucial to NOT force the shelf onto the pool ledge. U will break the plastic hooks. Just easily apply LIGHT pressure after adjusting the (under lock mechanism) and it will lock into place. Idk how but, they do. Seem sturdy after locking First one I got onto my pool pretty easily but the second I had more difficult with. Just stay patient and they will work. Seem to hold 2 -16oz soda decently. I’m going to purchase the same with a different company to check if have larger hooks. I worry once this is in the sun too long if the hooks will give. We shall see. Wish me luck ☺️

As described. Assembly was simple but some of the snap together parts had to be forced a little. No big deal though. I work about the corners pushing into the sides of the pool so I put a pool noodle through the hooks meant for towels to keep the basket from flopping or pushing so much on the sides. The storage is deep and holds a lot of stuff!
