My previous float broke after about a year. The cap broke on me putting it back on last week. FL sun with chlorine will do that to it so I expect to replace these every year. The one thing that I am not crazy about is that this new, smaller float gets stuck in my skimmer when my other does not. I still have my old float with the broken lid in the pool for another few days until the current tabs in there fully dissolve and it never gets stuck in my skimmer. The size of this one seems to be a perfect fit to make it get stuck in the skimmer. Hopefully that stops as I had an inch of water this everning. If it does not, I will replace it as I need my float to move around the pool freely.

Quality seems good. Much better than a similar one I purchased recently. That one had a telescoping bottom end that snapped onto place, but filled with water after a few weeks. This one seems better made. Great price - especially if it holds up.

I bought this one to replace the same style I'd purchased 2 years ago. We have an above ground 12' diameter pool that we set up end of May and take down end of Sept. This year when setting the pool up, we noticed the chlorine tablet holder had become brittle and needed to be replaced. The price was $4.00 higher this purchase than a few years ago. I wanted a holder to be somewhat flat on the top because we use a solar cover. There are lots of cute ones to choose but those wouldn't work with using the solar cover. The item was delivered on time as promised. I would recommend this item.

This works pretty much as expected. I can put 4 3" tablets and only check every few weeks. I like that it the feed rate is adjustable. Only drawback (-1 star) is that taking the top off to add more tablets is a little more effort than I was expecting based on experience with previous feeders I have owned. My purpose was to extend the life of my automatic feeder which I can't seem to adjust to the required levels. This did the job for me
