  • Light weight easy to use
Color: 100 Feet
Very intense pressure build up so be careful. The initial hole wasn’t made well so I had to put a pick to open. Now fine. Snakes well big and small. I kept the plastic box it came in to store when not in use.

  • Great hose. Space saver
Color: 50 Feet
What a great space saver. Realiable, and second to none. Makes your hose needs easier, and functional.

  • Have had to replace many times
Color: 100 Feet
Although I’ve had to replace this hose about every other season, I absolutely love the ease of use. I’m an avid gardener and use my hose daily. Traditional hoses used to be a hassle to manage and drag around the yard. They’re also bulky when stored and heavy to carry. After seeing a friend use this hose, I had to get one for myself. It’s so light and extremely easy to handle—leaps and bounds above traditional hoses. When it’s empty, the hose is very compact and fits in a large flower pot. When filled with water, it expands and stretches but still stays light and manageable. It stretches out easily, making it simple to reach its full length. Hose nozzles attach easily, and the water stream is strong. There are a few downsides, though, which is why I don’t give it a 5-star rating. With a traditional hose, I’d leave the spigot on and use the nozzle to control the water flow without needing to turn the spigot off. After doing this with my pocket hose for several weeks, I noticed a huge bulge in the line. Eventually, that bulge sprang a leak, and I had to buy a new hose. Now, I drain the hose after each use and turn the spigot off. I learned my lesson after this happened twice. To avoid damage, make sure to drain the hose so it shrinks back down. The hose has a grip for attaching nozzles, but I’ve noticed that it slides down the hose with every one I’ve bought. It doesn’t affect functionality, but it does make it a little harder to remove the nozzle. I used this hose with an arching sprinkler to water newly seeded grass, but I had to adjust the placement of the sprinkler each time I used it because the hose would shrink back to size and move the sprinkler with it. It wasn’t a big deal, but it was a little bit of a pain. You also can’t kink the hose to temporarily stop the water flow. I used to do that with traditional hoses while changing nozzles, checking on plants, or getting a drink, but it’s not possible with this hose. You can twist the hose to slow the water, but it’s not very effective or easy. For me, the pros far outweigh the cons. The ease of use has made this hose a lifesaver, and I love how lightweight and compact it is for such a long hose. I’ve bought these for both my home and my work. Since learning how to handle its shortfalls, my hose has lasted for several seasons. ... show more

  • My second pocket hose
Color: 50 Feet
Pros: Compact storage Easy to manipulate Spray nozzle provided Safe to drink from Cons: You are supposed to store it indoors when not in use. Really, Pocket Hose? Really? The hose keeps spraying for at least a minute after you turn the spigot off Not as durable as other hoses -- won't last Cannot be patched Neutral Cannot change nozzle My first pocket hose developed a leak when it got a kink in it. Unlike standard garden hoses, there's no patching a pocket hose. You have to toss the whole thing. It lasted maybe two seasons. I'm expecting the same from this one. Dock one star. The competition all have poor reviews. Local stores didn't have a good selection. I decided the devil you know .... so I got a second one. I opted for the 50 ft hose instead of the 25 ft hose this time. As it happens, the longer hose was a great choice for me. It's not much heavier, and the cost per yard is cheaper. The extra length makes it easier to move around when hosing. This type of hose packs up compactly when dry. As it fills with water, it gets expands and gets longer. when you turn off the spigot or faucet, the hose starts to shrink and get shorter. While it shrinks, it sprays! It takes a minute or more to empty the hose to where it stops spraying. This was quite a surprise the first time I used it. The 50 ft hose takes longer to empty than the 25 ft hose. The hose is made of some kind of fabric. It is definitely not as rugged as a standard garden hose. My first one lasted maybe two seasons, and I'm expecting same from this one. The first one sprung a leak when it kinked. Or maybe its time had come. You can drink from this hose. I want potable water to water my vegetables and herbs. A potable water hose is hard to find. This hose is lighter than a standard garden hose, and more flexible. This makes it easy to carry and compact to store when dry. Even when spraying full blast, it's much easier to drag and carry this type of hose than a standard garden hose. It comes with a nozzle permanently attached. I hope you like that nozzle because it's not going anywhere. I find the nozzle is fine for watering the garden. They don't tell you this in the infomercial, but you're supposed to store the hose indoors when not in use. Yes, detach a dripping wet hose and carry it into the house. You have got to be kidding me. Dock another star! ... show more

  • After turning water off, residual water in left in the hose, so be sure hose is empty of water.

Hose is excellent as long as hose is completely empty of water after use.

  • Easy to handle!
Color: 100 Feet
I love this water hose. It comes with the detachable nozzle to spray a straight stream and an extra rubber gasket for the end. Although I’ve never had to change mine it’s nice to have an extra just in case. It is incredibly lightweight. Holds up to the high water pressure when watering flowers, yard or my chickens. I can pull this hose around the yard to wherever I need to and not get tired. I always turn the water on and as it expands I walk along and start to water. I struggle to move our other rubber hoses because they are so heavy. I bought 2 of these so I could have one for the front yard and a different one for the back yard. My husband even prefers these because they are easily moved around. I bought my first expandable hose 5 yrs ago. It wasn’t until the end of last summer it finally gave up. I had been pulling it over the fence back and forth every day. I believe that’s the reason it sprung a leak. Even with a leak I continued to use it till end of season. This year I bought 2 and have no regrets! I tell everyone they need one! ... show more
