My husband and I took up pickleball recently as playing tennis for extended periods becomes difficult once you are sixty-plus. We bought a pair of beginner paddles from one of the big wholesale clubs and within two months had begun to play pickleball well-enough to upgrade. After checking out various paddles on Amazon, we decided to try out the yvmove Storm 007 paddle. It arrived the day after we ordered it in a beautiful box (although we would rather the manufacturer used minimal and eco-friendly packaging). Inside, neatly packed, were the paddle, a case, an eraser to clean the paddle (a really nice touch), extra tape for an overgrip, and a very nice neoprene cover for the paddle. The paddle looks to be well constructed, and has a solid feel compared to our beginner paddles. It is also very nicely balanced, and has a slimmer handle that makes it easier to maneuver. We immediately noticed that the paddle has a lot more power than our existing paddles – you can easily return a fast serve to the opponent’s baseline. Despite the power, it has excellent control. Due to the gritty surface, spins and slices are deep and hard to return. Another key difference compared to our earlier paddles is the throw angle is much lower, so you can hit returns that stay low over the net. Volleying and smashing is also better due to the increased power, but there is more than enough control to execute drop shots into the NVZ. Overall, this is an excellent paddle for the price, and having tried one, we will buy one more. The manufacturer offers an extended 2-year warranty if you register on the web-site which is an added bonus. So far, we are very pleased with the purchase and hope it will last long as we upgrade our skill level. ... show more

I’ve been playing pickleball for a few years now and recently upgraded to the YVMOVE paddle — and I’m thoroughly impressed.
