Firstly, packaging is superb. What's in the box are all you need to play pickleball (ball not included though). And now the paddle, it looks and feels good in my hand. I like the feel of the handle compared to my other other paddle which is 3 times the price. It is well balanced in my hand (not top heavy). Surface texture is like a very very fine sandpaper. It's light which make me very responsive. And the paddle looks expensive. I just wish that the border around it is black instead of gray. I am a beginner, a little more than a year of playing mostly for an hour every time (I'm 66, don't want to over stress myself) just to keep moving. I play pickleball like I play tennis (I stopped awhile ago because of my shoulder) because I cannot control dinking. So I mostly bang it. this paddle really gives a good pop and control my hits... I really like it. My spins improved a lot. It also improve my control when I dink. It makes me learn how to play pickleball because of the control when I dink (I cannot do overhead because of my shoulder). My topspin and screwball serve improved a lot also. The surface of the paddle is like a very fine sand paper, it spins the ball way better than my other paddle with a 3K Carbon Kevlar surface. All in all, this paddle serve my needs in playing pickleball. This is now my go to paddle.

I’m pretty new to pickleball and wanted a good paddle to start with—something that felt solid without spending a ton of money. After doing a bit of research, I decided to try the YVMOVE Storm - 007 T700, and I’m so glad I did! Here’s what I like: • The paddle feels light but powerful. I can swing it fast and still hit the ball with some pop. • It has a textured surface that helps me add spin (I didn’t even know spin was a thing until I started trying it—now I love it!). • The grip is really comfortable, even during longer games. It doesn’t slip when my hand gets sweaty. • It came with a cover and edge protection, which is awesome because I don’t have to buy those separately. If you’re just starting out and want a paddle that’s high quality but still affordable, this is a great pick. I’m very happy with it and plan to keep using it as I improve!

YVMOVE T007+Carbon Fiber, tldr: Excels on control, crisp returns, solid feel and weight. I've been playing for a year and a half, so only still about a 2.5-3.0 skill level (i.e. intermediate/low-intermediate). Went from a HEAD Radical Elite (beginner-intermediate; "HRE") up until a little over a month ago, so this YVMOVE T007+Carbon Fiber ("YT7") is definitely an upgrade the month I've been using it. Since these are the only two I have experience with, this perspective is going to be a comparison, but you the reader might still be able to glean some insight if you're in the same position I was: Although slightly narrower, the YT7 has a high quality flat surface (HRE had a slight curve/imperfection) so the sweet spot was solid and generous/easy to strike from any angle. YT7 textured surface definitely accommodates spins whereas the HRE's smooth surface doesn't, but I'm new to spins, so I don't claim to be any kind of authority. Grip and paddle thickness are comparable, so you'll get a weightly solid feel, but not too heavy at all. All this means is that it's really good with control. Power is okay, but pickleball courts are small, so I think control is preferable anyway, although you can still clear the court--and sometimes land those deep corner shots when you worried you overshot lol. The lack of power "multiplier" (if that even is a thing, I'm just imagining) means this won't benefit slammers, but also won't restrict/hinder. I don't play that way (yet) as I prefer to skim the net and dampen slams against me, so this YT7 is still very good for me for the foreseeable future. If not obvious, I'm pretty happy with this so far, now going into my second month with it. (Responding to amazon's ideas checklist: I don't think I've held onto it long enough to comment on durability, yet, and I also don't abuse my equipment so you might get better opinions on that elsewhere. But it's still in almost new condition after a month of moderate use.)
