Tiered vents at the top make this umbrella stand out from the rest. It's lightweight, easy to tilt and crank open/closed. I ordered the dark navy umbrella at the beginning of the summer. It's a very classy color and after 3 months has held up to the sun's rays. However, it shows a lot of dirt and is made of a very thin fabric so it doesn't provide nearly as much shade as a canvas umbrella - I have rain umbrellas that offer more shade. A tie is included to secure the umbrella when not in use, although it's not sewn on so you'll have to attach it to the ribs so it doesn't get lost. We haven't had any strong winds yet, but his umbrella has stood up to daily breezes without a problem. Overall we're happy with the look and ease of this umbrella, but wish it provided more sun protection in our hot and sunny SoCal backyard.

I bought this umbrella to fit into an existing patio table. It matched it well in color and size. The fabric and the construction seem to be of good quality. It is easy to operate. The tilting feature is sure nice. The ventilated design does make it more stable when it’s windy. So far so good. Happy with the purchase.

The adventage we thought was the color option to match our outdoor setting. HOWEVER, this outdoor umbrella is probably the biggest piece of crap we’ve ever purchased. We have always had two outdoor umbrellas at any one time by the pool and on the outdoor porch. The mechanism crank on this is very cheap and is going to break very soon. It doesn’t even pull the umbrella taught without rolling back some so that the umbrella then looks saggy and not stretched out all the way. The cord to pull the umbrella up also very thin and cheap string. Do not buy the umbrella if you are looking for a quality umbrella that will last a long time. This is not it! Sad I had to give it 1 Star to write review.

The three tier design of the umbrella is stylish and functional. It allows breezes to pass through easily. The downfall of this umbrella is the pole. As with other umbrellas I've had, the pole is constructed of light weight aluminum or alloy of some sort. Even though I'm quick to pull umbrella in and tie it if stronger winds approach, the pole just won't hold up to much wind. I can easily see this pole moving from side to side as the wind blows and it's just a matter of time before it snaps. This is the third umbrella this year that I've purchased from Amazon. All umbrellas seem to have the same pole construction so not sure what to do. I really like the umbrella part itself. The fabric and other features are fine; Just wish the pole was made of studier gauged metal.
