I’ve had this litter box for a few months now and could not be happier with it. My younger cat took to it immediately and refuses to use the regular litter box. My older cat is still afraid to use it, but she gets scared easily. This litter box is reliable, relatively quiet, and I love that I can track my cat’s activity in the app. The bin doesn’t fill too quickly, and the deodorizers do a good job of keeping the smell down. There was a brief time where it thought there was a 2.2lb cat in it and wouldn’t clean - this eventually fixed once we added litter and recalibrated the weight. I wish I would’ve gotten it sooner, and definitely glad I didn’t spend the extra money to get a certain Robot.

Very very good machine very reliable with a few caveats. It’s definitely easier than the old pet safe trays Phone app is nice though it can make you a lot more paranoid about your cats bathroom behavior, which you probably would otherwise not have noticed. transition from the old box to the new box was fairly easy, the old box was seven years old and clanking, and we were having pee incidentses. I my cat won’t use a toilet that sounds sketchy AF. It was otherwise working fine. That being said it was fairly easily put together. I was able to put it together while stoned with barely any space so that’s saying something. It’s pretty good at older control, but that may be the change in the kitty litter, but it doesn’t smell from the bin underneath the machine. It’s fairly large, but has a decently sized footprint. It’s some help both large and small at the same time. It’s definitely easier to clean the litter and I really enjoy the bin underneath. It’s actually very quiet. The only sound I hear is when it’s done cleaning the sieve falls back into place with a clanking sound and then there’s a beep. I wasn’t prepared for the clanking. I also want to know that you can turn off the beeping, but m turning off the beeping in your settings does also turn off the bin full notification, which is good because the machine has a tendency to send false notifications with bin full. That gets really irritating and it’s stressed out my cat a lot in the end is it worth it? Yes and no would I buy it again yes do I think it’s worth $400 no for $400 I would expect better sensors other than that I enjoy it. I enjoy their products.

Worked decently for a little over a year. Now when it is almost done dumping litter and rotates back to its original position it does not stop and move back a few degrees. The motor keeps going and it slips as the sphere runs out of gears to keep turning. Shortly after I get error code 4 "Sphere not installed". Have been messing with it, cleaned sensors etc. and keeps doing the same thing. Apart from it stopping to function i find the device way overpriced for what it offers. Mandatory cloud app service, which is a norm these days but I take it as a con. Worked pretty reliably with a couple times the cleaning was interrupted by big chunk of litter blocking the sensor inside. Waste drawer full notification is basically useless as I would get a sensor blocked error first. I had the empty waste trigger once, the very first time it filled up. Considering my troubleshooting and almost no information on the issue I'm experiencing which happened right after warranty expired I can't recommend this device.

I absolutely love this thing! I was skeptical but man is this great. I have a pretty big chonky cat and she fits fine. She started using it right away. The size of it is really not massive like I thought it would be. The design is nice. Putting it together was pretty simple, and the upkeep of it is way better than scooping daily. As you can see my cat still manages to get litter everywhere but she does that with every box. I think we have honestly saved litter as well, it dumps 7 minutes after she goes to the bathroom and it’s fantastic at just removing the litter that clumps up, none is ever wasted. VERY happy with this product!

Setting up the PetSafe ScoopFree SmartSpin was quick and straightforward, and its sturdy material and sleek, modern design allow it to fit seamlessly into my home like a piece of regular furniture rather than an eyesore. I was initially skeptical about the price, but the targeted sifting system saves so much litter from being wasted that it will easily pay for itself over time. The size is absolutely perfect for a bigger cat, fitting my 4-year-old, 13-pound cat Meatball comfortably after a brief two-day transition where he even took a nap inside it! Connecting to the app took a couple of attempts at first, but once paired, the automated sifting and effortless waste drawer make cleanup quick and hassle-free- no hazmat suit needed. The deodorizer effectively neutralizes odors instead of just masking them with heavy perfumes, and the back locking knob keeps the unit firmly in place. Meatball is genuinely happier, and I love this system so much that I’ve already recommended it to family and friends—my sister has even ordered one for herself! It's very durable, made from top-notch material, and a great value for the money; it pays for itself.

I really like this automatic litter box by PetSafe. The pros are that the phone app that goes with it is easy to use and simple to set up. The litter box is not small but it is smaller than other brands, enough so that I can fit it behind my couch, and it’s not very tall either. It’s easy to lift (not too heavy to carry), and it’s relatively quiet when in operation. You can set a timer to auto clean for a specific number of minutes after your cat exits the litter box or you can use the app to have the box start cleaning immediately with one tap of an icon. Also, this was more affordable than the more popular brands of litter boxes. The cons are that if you use the wrong clumping cat litter, the smell is awful, despite the deodorizer that is seated into the front of the pull-out waste-bin/tray. Recently, I've settled on Fresh Step litter with Febreze, which reduced the smell of cat poop to almost nothing. Also, I don’t like cleaning the litter box because I don’t have a back yard, and this requires at least 5 feet by 4 feet of space to lay out the pieces and wipe them down or a backyard to hose it down and air dry the pieces. If you wish, you can hose the globe-shaped part down in the tub but it’s clunky and awkward especially without a hose spray of some sort attached to your shower faucet. I also noticed some types of litter will stick to the inside of the litter box and can sometimes require rigorous scraping to remove it from the surface, all the while trying not to scratch the interior. I think I’ve solved this issue by rubbing some grease onto the parts of the interior that the litter likes to sticks to, before I put new litter into the box and later the litter will wipe right off. I also bought some pet-safe enzymatic cleaning spray, which I use when I’m wiping down the box with wet wipes. I’d like to think it helps prevent future smells. There is a small screw in the back of the interior globe-shaped part that cat litter likes to get stuck in, so I pack it with a tiny piece of paper towel to prevent that from happening. Also, after about a year of owning this, some very fine litter got stuck in the grooves around the two buttons on the front, and they both got stuck and wouldn’t push in, so I had to take a sewing needle and pick out the litter granules until the buttons worked again. I then put some masking tape lightly over the buttons to prevent this from happening again. That seems to be working so far. Moving on, my cat uses this box 2-4 times a day and I usually empty the waste bin/tray into my litter genie every night to prevent smells from wafting out into my living room, but I have gone 2 days without emptying it, and noticed no smells with the new brand of litter, and have emptied it after 7 days without the waste tray overflowing. I can’t review the durability of this litter box because I’ve had it for almost a year but I will say so far it’s working fine. I hope it continues to work fine, but only time will tell.

The litter box you never knew you needed!!! This thing is seriously gorgeous and operates smoothly. Setup was a little bit of a challenge, but just make sure the litter pan at the bottom is in the right place. Everything can be controlled from your smart phone. It eliminates odors and the cat took to it super quick. I think it also adds a layer of privacy that a normal litter box doesn't. The cleaning mechanism is not loud. I could see emptying it about every week or so.

I wanted to love this, i like it. It is fine. It does a job. I have to change to trash bin about every 10 days ( i have 1 17# cat), the bags it comes with are awkward to fit and do not close well when being removed. My cat is a messy when she pees and it hits the sides a d stuff gets stuck. When she poos it dosent always clump well ( she is lazy) and i have found i need to break it down about once every 4-5 weeks to clean the inside. The app is almost useless and was hard to get synced up. Whenever i add litter to top it up it thinks the cat is in there and i have to do a power off reset.. do i love i don't have to scoop poo every day, yes, dobi love i didnt buy a $1000 little robot- yes, would I buy this again- maybe. It does the job.
