It has taken some time to get use to since it's my first pellet smoker. Season it first as per instructions then get some good pellets.... No fillers in the pellets or blended wood. Use all wood pellets from Webber or Kingsford (hickory). Don't waste your money on fancy blended wood pellets. My opinion! Smoke your meat first for 30 min. to an hour then cook. My opinion! It's not like a traditional wood smoker at all. I've smoked chicken, fish and made burgers . Does a great job although there are differences in cooking from one end to the other, so watch that. I'm pleased with it, easy to use. Controls temperature well. Love the shut down feature and the drip pan catch. ... show more
