First impressions: These lights are surprisingly well built for the price point. The packaging easily could have come from a high-dollar name brand light manufacturer. The accompanying literature is clear and easily understood with a QR code for more info. The lights are well protected by the packaging. The finish on the housing is a black satin and appears to be very durable. I did not mar it during the installation. The beam is wide, like a work light, and throws a 13’ wide pattern in just eight feet. This is ideal for my application as reverse lights on a pickup. Fit and finish is excellent. The included hardware is stainless steel and is excellent quality. The mounting bracket has notched extrusions to hold the fastening bolt, allowing you to finish tightening the bracket with only one wrench - nice touch. In part, these are advertised as useful for an off-road fog light. I would not use these as a fog light, off-road or not. A good fog light will direct a beam down toward the road. These lights throw a wide conical beam straight out. I mounted them under the rear of my pickup just forward of the rear bumper. They will be exposed to vibrations directly from the frame and probably some indirect debris from the rear tires. Some lights will come with wire and sometimes a switch and wire ties, etc. These lights do not so add wire, zip ties, loom and a switch to the overall cost. I’m $13 into 12AWG wire to make the run. Price point considered, these are highly recommended. You’ll need two 10mm and two 13mm wrenches (or sockets) to tighten the fasteners. ... show more

I’m not sure how well these would work for cars or trucks but I installed them on my snowblower and it lights up my view perfectly. They are flood lights so it’s a wide spread pattern and they don’t shoot super far so that’s why I don’t think they would work great for on road use. They installed easily and feel decent quality. A great upgrade for my snowblower. (Don’t mind the sticker I had it from previous lights that didn’t last) ... show more

Really nice quality lights and seem to be well made. However if they are not mounted to a steel or other solid, metal surface they will bounce all over the place. This is not to say this is a problem with these particular lights but I noticed when I had them affixed to the front fascia even the smallest bump shook the pattern all over the place so installer beware, make sure they are on something SOLID or else you may be installing a strobe light. ... show more

These are very bright lights, and they don't draw a lot of juice. They have universal wiring so no funky proprietary connectors to fool with. I am torn between using these to upgrade the lights on my Side by Side or to add to my tractor for extra light. I might give up and buy another set and put them on both ... show more

This set of flood lights was exactly what we needed for our tractor. Easy to install and mount with the included hardware. The lights are super bright and don't use a lot of juice. Exactly what we needed for those long nights and early mornings working in the yard.
