Low power draw and plenty bright. They’re mounted on my kayak with a 2.5hp that takes water over the bow regularly and these things take it like it’s nothing. The color temperature is perfect too; it has decent light penetration into the water to see rocks just beneath the surface.

I got these to put on my 2000 Jeep Cherokee as hood mounted flood lights for night driving in rain or snow. Over the past 8 months I've gotten the chance to use them a handful of times and have been very happy with them. Light output and spread is great giving a real usable amber light vs some of the cheap ones I've had in years past. Makes seeing through rain much easier and somewhat better in snow (reflectivity of snow is bad no matter what ya do). Install wise, this was pretty easy. The harness is weather tight and has nice connectors to make the whole system serviceable and worry free. I did skip the included switch in favor of a factory style jeep switch that I have in my dash but the button included is ok quality and lights up without being blinding when testing it on my bench power supply. All told, for what you pay for this kit, how much you get, and the relative quality of everything, this is a pretty good deal. Sure there are kits out there for much more money that have fancier construction or features and whatnot, but for a good set of amber inclement weather lights that wont leave you in the poor house or let you down at a bad time, this is a good buy. Plus the savings can be put to better use on other upgrades for an offroad rig (like lockers or a winch, because wow the name brands of these types of lights are in the hundreds of dollars now for some reason). ... show more

Lights are exactly what I wanted, but they fail after riding around on my motorcycle for a bit. They return to functionality after returning home and leaving them for a while. Must be overheating, right? Support was useless and blamed my installation. I'm an ex-electronics tech from back in the USAF. I installed them correctly. These are good driving lights that give off a very wide and diffuse beam, I used them to augment headlights that had a tight beam with poor side illumination and these work well for that. The wiring harness is pretty good, the wire itself has a nice thick insulation layer and the wires are an appropriate gauge, there is an extra rubber sleeve that further protects the wiring and the electrical connectors that plug the lights into the harness both help with installation and have gaskets to keep the water out. These fit adjacent to an F250 hitch using an exiting bumper bolt. Wired to the upfitter switches they make a good trailer/backup light. Not as floody as i might have hoped, center round but wide bright spot.

They didn't work after I had installed them. I had installed the wiring harness and it was to much trouble to take everything back apart, so I left the wiring harness, that I installed and went to Harbour Freight and bought some lights, and used the wiring harness that was with these lights for the new lights. I figured that they must have gotten damaged in shipping. At least they did have a very nice wiring harness. If you buy them test them before installing them. I installed these on my BMW R1200GS to replace a much older, and less efficient set of lights. These seem very well made with all aluminum housings. I expect them to last even those they are exposed , and will be subjected to some abuse. They produce a lot of white light as shown in the photos.
