This was a cute gift for my toddler and the design is really nice. The car itself feels like good quality and has fun sounds that kids enjoy. One important note: batteries are required for both the car and the remote, even though the features/specs section says they are not. Just something to be aware of before gifting. We opened this at Christmas and unfortunately lost the remote right away. I tried ordering a replacement 2.4GHz Bluetooth remote, but it didn’t work with the car. Thankfully we eventually found the original remote about a month later so the kids could finally use it. The controls are very simple, which is good for younger toddlers. However, I do wish the remote had separate right and left buttons, because the forward/backward turning style makes it a little less fun to drive. Overall, it’s a great toy for kids around 2 or younger. Older kids may get bored with it quickly. The price point feels best if you can find it around $20.
