Features

  • Compact Design: This bunny cage is easy to fit in small spaces to account for limited extra room in less sizable homes. Two levels allow a more spacious interior without taking up extended backyard space.
  • Full Coverage: The hutch is fully covered in a weatherproof asphalt roof that lets raindrops slide right off, protecting your fur baby in bad weather while providing shade from the heat.
  • Wood and Steel Structure: With a solid and stable formation, the rabbit enclosure provides a strong and secure home.
  • Easy to Clean: A pull-out tray allows for easy maintenance. When you need to clean the cage, all you need to do is slide the tray out, clean it, and slide it back in.
  • Bunny Rabbit Cage Info: Overall Dimensions: 47.25" L x 21.75" W x 31.5" H. Living Room Dimensions: 22" L x 19.75" W x 19" H. • Small
We use this for the Guinea pigs for their summer home. They enjoy munching on grass out in the garden. Really disappointed that there is no door to lock them in at night. Locking mechanism is very weak, so we use bungee cords to make sure no nighttime critters can get in.

  • Great buy for price
It's been outside for about 3 weeks now and it's sturdy and my rabbit loves the room he can finally get.it took about 4 hours to put together but once I did it was coming back down!!

  • Solid Frame
The frame is hollow metal rods but they have a good coating on them from the feel. Mesh is approximately 3/4 of an inch wide, so predators like snakes, rats, and food thieves like mice will get in. I used this coop for my quail, and they don't seem to have an issue with the ramp, though I would say it may be a little small for some larger variety of rabbits. As far as how much space a bunny needs, I think one rabbit would fit fine. The hole pictured in the side of the door panel is actually an OPEN hole, presumably for a water bottle? And the front panel has no closing door option so you'd have to add a slide or something of that nature if you wanted the option. Dropping pan is pretty nice metal, seems galvanized, about an inch deep unlike some other pans that are very shallow. If your bunny is heavy, I would add a strut to the bottom for support. The mesh itself is pretty solidly welded, though for warm-blooded pet owners in hotter climates I'd add a mesh layer to the exterior to help with mosquitoes or galvanized hardware cloth to keep out the littler pests. Maybe that's just my paranoia as a quail owner. The assembly was easy, could be done with a hand-held screwdriver. Wood is just about the standard quality as you get with these flatpack kits, maybe a little nicer than ones I've gotten in the past. I suspect a coating of stain would keep it longer, but it should hold up to Florida heat and sun for some time. The bottom is NOT meshed in, so if you have digging predators like possom, foxes, or raccoons, make sure to put it on a solid surface or add some hardware cloth to the bottom. My personal favorite method is to use 4 inch cement block and bury those under it. Easy to remove later. Will update as more problems and critique arises, but so far the little birds like it. ... show more

  • Do not buy this bunny cage
This is too small for your rabbit they can’t even run around and Froelich just get them a doggy pen or make them free roam I recommend the YouTuber Lennon the bunny.

  • As pictured, but much too small
Before you buy this and put it together, get a tape measure and a pencil, draw out the footprint on your floor, and then realize this is way too small to keep a rabbit in. If you need a place to put a rabbit for a day or 2 this is your thing, if you keep a rabbit in this for more than that, you're not a good pet owner and you shouldn't have a rabbit. This thing is about the size of a plastic bin. It doesn't have a "run" because by definition, a "run" is able to be RUN in. This allows about enough room to turn around it. Additionally, if you plan to keep it outside, it's not predator proof, so you'll need to buy some wire fence and wire it to the bottom and secure it, which makes it impossible to open the door. I didn't actually think about any of this before I bought it. Let my mistake be your lesson. ... show more

  • Happy with the overall purchase.
I'm happy with the overall purchase. The ramp broke almost immediately but my husband fixed it.

  • Works for 6 quail
Assembly was fine. Fencing is a nice heavy welded metal. The ramp fell apart but hubby fixed it. Quail couldn’t climb it at first so we added roofing tile with traction. We closed the water bottle hole. I wish they sold more fencing to make run longer. I think it’s too small for anything over 5 lbs or 6 inches long. ... show more
