This drive is amazing. I write large amount of files at one time , sometimes over 100 GBs. It's faster on large transfers than any other drive , including the ones that say they faster. I'm hitting 500 M/S write sometimes. I don't know why they sat it's write speed is so low. I like these so much that I bought 6 of different sizes. This flash drive is really fast, has a nice red led to tell is working, reading or writing. I use it with my led tv and i can play all my movies from it. Great producto. Recommended.

    • Capacity makes it keepable - Speed, a Sham - I won't buy another.
Capacity is as advertised. The speed is not. It starts out super-fast downloading archived files for safekeeping, and almost immediately slows to an even slower speed than the old one it replaced. A preliminary estimate of transferring backup files of 20 minutes almost immediately slowed to over 4 hours. Forget the LED. One of the reasons I purchased this was the red LED activity indicator so I knew when it was done loading. A dim LED buried under a -white- plastic end cap is ridiculous. The only way you can see it functioning at all is if the lights in the room are off, and then only barely. ... show more

I like the storage size. I've had a series of WD myClouds die on me for several years in a row and needed alternatives. I use a couple of different Patriot drives and they've been great.
