Just buy this set, these things are incredible! I've had these probably almost 2 years now and they are excellent can handle any jobs from lag bolts to drilling with spade bits, hole cutting etc. Both the drill and impact driver are incredibly capable, well built and are a pleasure to use. Ergonomically they fit the hand well even with heavy use, and the small foot print of both the drill and to an even greater degree, the impact driver make them incredible tools. Speaking of the impact driver, I just built a fence in less than ideal muddy conditions and used it the whole time, it shot 3 inch screws into the wet 4x4s with ease. My truck ironically got swamped in mud and my neighbor came with his tractor to pull me out. I had given up on saving the impact driver at that point because the whole work site was mud and it was already covered, I figured okay I will use it and if it dies, it dies and I get another one so at this point I'm just tossing it around on the ground in the mud. Well, my neighbor comes with a massive 12,000+ lb Kubota M-Series ag tractor with 6-foot weighted tires to pull my truck out. In my careless haste, I guided him through the least muddy route to my truck, and you guessed it, right over the impact driver. It looks like it may have bent a smidgen? But I honestly can't tell. IT STILL WORKS. Just buy the set. And hey, the batteries have a built in gauge 😉 ... show more

Good value. The battery life is decent. The power is excellent. Recharging time is pretty fast. Like every cordless drill today the chuck is just okay. This one is a bit better than the Milwaukee that I've also used. There's a battery life indicator which is nice to have. I'd recommend this set.

This was a great starter kit for my set of Dewalt tools. Included batteries I could also use with their tire inflator. Two should be plenty to swap around, and they charge surprisingly fast, I think it was within 30 minutes with the included charger. Both tools function great and have good power and torque. The bag is durable and has plenty of room for the included items as well as a couple other tools, weight shouldn't be an issue. ... show more

My old drill's battery had stopped working, and rather than paying for a new battery, I decided to invest in a lighter and more efficient model. This drill has exceeded my expectations! One of the best things about this drill is its lightweight design, which has made my DIY projects around the house so much easier. As a bonus, it came with a handy bag and an impact driver, which I absolutely love. Another great feature is the built-in light, something my previous drill lacked, making it much more convenient to work in dimly lit areas. I've been using this drill for about two months now and it's been fantastic for tasks like putting up pictures, installing blinds, assembling furniture, and fixing various things around the house. Given my usage, it really does the job well. The lightweight nature of the drill is especially helpful, as I usually tackle these projects on my own. While the drill has impressive power, I generally don't require too much for my projects. The battery life is also quite remarkable; I've only had to charge it once in the past few months. The smaller size of the drill is another advantage, as it fits into tight spaces without forcing me into awkward positions.
