This is a very good drive for what it costs, but it depends on intended purpose. It is DRAMless drive and uses QLC architecture, hence it's sluggish. You cannot compare it to spinning old-fashion HDD: it's day and night. But if your goal is to move to higher capacity SSD and you have good existing drive, the drop in speed (especially, boot) is noticeable. I used this drive for to store my games. I'm unable to add an NVME drive so I used this one instead. Easy install and fast transfer from my OS drive to this new drive. Not seeing any lag loading games and levels. I would definitely buy again!

This is a great drive. You gotta get an SSD on your computer. It will make even an old pc feel new. And this particular brand is a good one and it is especially amazing for the price. Its a great drive the BIGGEST thing is that you cannot setup this drive through an external drive enclosure, it must be physically installed and an OS bios boot. Otherwise its just fine. As advertised. No problems.
