Features
- Strengthen Waterproof: Patio shade sail has additional waterproof strips added at the joint of the fabric to enhance sealing. To maximize its water resistance the seams on the edges of the sail should be facing the ground
- Reinforced Structure: Finished with double reinforced stitched seams, it prevents tear and wear and improves the pulling strength of the D-ring. Not easily deformed or faded, the heavy duty shade clothes will not leave white creases after folding, maintaining their beauty.
- 95% Sun Block : Made of 100% brand new high-density polyester, blocking up to 95% of the UV rays. Lower the temperature under the shade canopy, reducing your property's cooling cost and energy consumption
- Multiple Applications: Edge curve design can improve tensile strength while effectively preventing backyard covers from sagging. The ideal shading solution is widely used over a patio, lawn, garden, pool, garage, pergola, or deck
- Installation: Leave a 1.5-2 foot gap between the D-ring and the fixing point for hardware installation. Maintaining a certain tilt angle can reduce water accumulation. Note: The fabric is stretchy; the titles shown are for when stretched taut.Make sure the sunshade sail is fully taut during installation, otherwise the size will be too small. Alternatively, choose a larger size

It does provide shade however I wish it blocked more sun. The double layer webbing they boast is not accurate. It's single layer so felt misled and a bit disappointed about that. It's not water proof as the picture claimed. The material stretches and sags. The D-rings are already rusting. I bought my own hardware (turnbuckles, carabiners (sp)), and used braided cable instead of the rope they provided. I also would have preferred the rectangular shape. No water proofing tape on the seams as they claim. If they would not have made those claims I would not be highlighting them. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073XWV81V/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_3

I ordered beige and what I got was some sort of very odd cross between pink and white. Also, the measurements given do not completely cover or provide shade for that amount of ground area. For example, 16x16 will not give you 16x16 feet of shaded area; this is because of the curved inward sides. The stated measurements are for corner to corner, as they do state. But it doesnt hurt to be fully aware of this. I feel that most people will order this based on their measurements needed and not with the added awareness that they need to add to those measurements.

Great stuff. Worth the money. Mounted it quickly with the 4 included brackets: 2 on the house using concrete screws, and 2 on the fence posts using stainless steel screws. Then used D rings on the house side, then ratchet ties on the fence side. Crank and done. Easy quick release too for hurricanes, whatever. The color is cool, it does a good job blocking sun. It’s built of strong and quality materials.

Purchased 3 of these in September 2020. They protect our outdoor living room where we spend about 50% of our time - year round. These do an excellent job of keeping us dry and our things protected from the elements during the rainy season. A year later, one of the sails ripped while I was tightening it up. I emailed Paradise Patio and they responded almost immediately. One week later, I had a new sail at my doorstep. It's great to report there are still companies out there that stand behind their products and offer complete customer support. I owned several other brands of sails. Now I use Paradise Patio sun shade sails. I highly recommend the waterproof sail. It does not disappoint and neither does the company that sells them.

This rectangular, waterproof, sun shade is exactly what we were looking for to cover our 10x20 cedar deck. The difference in temperature is dramatic walking under it after being out in the yard - and that's without a fan. Once i get a fan out there, I suspect it will be comfortable no matter how hot it gets this summer. As for the color? Wow. The picture attached was taken at noon on a cloudless 90 degree day, and the color is really intense. I'm thinking I should have gone with a white/off-white, and may end up moving this one to make a cover for the extra car and replacing the red with something less red . . . but i will definitely be buying another and recommending this to my friends. Excellent product. Easy install.

This is a well made shade sail. D rings are strong. Has weather proofing at the seam. One major tip for installing - make sure the seam that is on top overlaps as it descends. So the rain doesn’t run into a backstop. I installed backwards and it leaked. That may be other folks problems with a leaking seam. Get some turnbuckles. That really is the only way you can get this thing taught.

It’s a very nice fabric. It’s very durable. But it’s really a glorified tarp and NOT a sun shade. The primary difference being that it’s entirely impervious to water flow which makes it entirely unsuitable for storms (unless you have some very specific and uneven Mount points). I did the very best that I could to install it at a sufficient enough slope to allow water to run off. I even shimmied a good 25’ up my pecan tree to create an anchor point. You can see in my photo that it didn’t matter. It still filled entirely with water in a storm eventually snapping the cables and crashing down. It’s a really nice tarp, but probably not what you are meaning to search for based on it’s title.
