There’s a lot to like about this heater but there are also limitations. Pros: It comes with a chain to hang it from a ceiling. It has a remote control. It provides a good amount of heat quickly. It has a plug to use, not hard wiring. Cons: Power cord is not long so you’ll have to install an electrical outlet up high close to this heater. It’s a bit challenging to get it down if the weather gets bad and this is outside. It takes some time to cool down until you can remove it. This is a very nice heater in just the right conditions. A high electrical outlet. Ease in removing it from the ceiling when weather gets bad. Enough protection from light rain or moisture (IP24 rated). If these conditions exist where you need a heater, you’re all set. Otherwise, look for another heater.. ... show more

We have a little gym in our unheated garage. We hung this above the gym so it would be warm there. It works great. It heats up the small area easily. It's probably a 20x20 foot area. It was easy to install on the rafter to hang above the gym. It warms up fast so we don't need to have it on long before its comfortable to work out and turns off easily so we don't waste energy.
