Every one of these that looks and measures as this one does is the same. No need to get a more expensive unit. Same performance which for $11 is just great. For $11 the airflow is totally acceptable. I did notice that the casing where it joins around fan assy leaks air enough to steal some from the intended suction. This was easily remedied with a strip of masking tape around the joint easy. I will say that for my purpose ( home made spray booth 26x16x15 & 8x10 vacuum box to fan to indoor collector 5ft x 4” duct) the suction was just a bit less than I needed for the arrangement. For $11 no complaints about suction though out of box, it’s good, and pulled more paint than I thought it would have actually when I unhooked it to do a side by side test against another fan that I picked up for $28, which is the white one that you see on search results that claims 280cfm and usually starts at $40. Soo… side by side I can see, oh btw, the noise level on the fan in a dead quiet room is 54-58db not 30db that’s funny they say that cause a dead quiet room is about 30db with power and a/c etc. ok so right away there was a considerable difference in the air blowing strength between the two fans with the white one blowing considerably harder than this little fella and the white one was louder in open air. Do either blow at stated cfm output? Idk but if you compare these to a real inline 8 or 10” fan that pull more than 2 amps and make ~780 cfm I would say that it is not far off but probably not quite. The plastic on the white one is abs and you can tell the difference from this one which has the older style more brittle plastic in gloss black but it is typical and no problem. Would it survive a fall? Maybe a couple. So imo for $11 it is a better value than the $27 one overall because it performs really really well for price point and delivers as much as all the others like this but if you were going to pay for one of the more branded units for $20+ and they sell for I’ve seen like $54 or prob more for same exact thing as $11 then just get the white 280 cfm white one for the $27 cause that is way way better at that price point. Those can be seen for a lot more too and they are all the same as well and some of the black ones too. They will probably last the same either way. So in short, it is the best option available for this 195 cfm style fan. Or my name isnt Biff Worthington.

This is a very nice inline fan for the price. It's not an incredibly strong movement of air but it works as it should. The noise is not bad.

Use this as a bathroom vent. It works great. Its 4" so keep that in mind. Standard bathroom fans are 3". Don't try to use this for a dryer vent. Just because your dryer vent is 4" doesn't mean it would work.

The media could not be loaded. I used this as an intake and exhaust fan in a mushroom growing tent and it is suffiecient as either. Overall like this fan and suits my purpose. Ive purchased four so far. Company is good to work with and sent me a replacement rapidly when two i purchased were too loud. Pros: Powerful. Good quality. Functions well. Cons: Noise level is higher than id like, but tolerable except when you get one that is exceptionally loud, which half of them seem to be. I have to upload the two videos separately. So apparently another review will have the tolerable one. I'm sending a video of one that is too annoying to ignore. And a video of the quiet one.

Not as powerful as I expected. Unfortunately I don’t have a way of testing cfm, but by judging it compared to a bathroom exhaust fan it seems to be equal. So… three stars for blowing when plugged in I guess.
