Are all swimming pools available for use? The pool needs to be at least 39 inches deep to ensure normal use. Why can't it float properly even though I've added filler to the base? First, the filler cannot be water or a substance with a density less than water. Second, the total weight of the filler must be at least 19 pounds. It is recommended to use wet sand and fill the entire base completely. Why won’t the umbrella stay locked and open? When opening the umbrella, push it to its highest position to ensure the locking mechanism is fully engaged. To avoid damage to the umbrella, it is recommended to fold up your umbrella during extreme weather such as storms.

Was skeptical about the quality and size of this umbrella, but being a girl in Florida who burns easily and loves to swim i figured I’d give it a try . Was pleasantly surprised. It really is a 7’ umbrella. It’s sturdy too, not a thin one that will tear quickly. And the fabric underneath is silver to block the sun(just like the windshield shades made for your car) the base is thick molded plastic with 5 pieces that are threaded to screw in together. No tools needed at all. You do have to buy a bag of sand to fill it up n weigh it down (I used a 20lb bag of river rock pebbles from homeDep ) once you pour in the pebbles it’s super stable, as it’s floating around the pool if it hits the steps it just keeps on going. Ya can’t use it as a floatation device or anything cause it does rock back n forth but it holds the big Yet! Cups and when the wind picks up this baby stays upright. Absolutely would recommend this product to all my friends here with pools. Even above ground pools . Especially since it’s a great value for the price! There’s even VIP customer service via and Yes, they really do answer and they are kind and informative and follow up on any questions and actually back their product (unbelievable now a days) Oh, when it’s floating the part that’s underwater is 31” so your pool needs to be at least 32” deep or more so it doesn’t hit bottom…deeper if you add more weight.

Love this! Took chilling in my pool to the next level. Provides the shade I want while keeping my drink and music with reach. Super easy to set up, made of durable plastic, and I really love that comes with a cover for the umbrella to protect it when not in use. It also comes with a storage bag for the other pieces which will come in handy when we remove it from the pool during the winter.

While this is a great idea, it only works if there is ZERO wind! Even the slightest breeze knocks it sideways dumping all the drinks in the pool! Any wind at all and it flips the umbrella wrong side out! Definitely a waste of money!!

This was very easy to assemble and works great. I have a pool in Vegas and this provides great relief from the intense sun. I used to just avoid the pool in the afternoon, but this provides excellent shade and a coaster for my phone and drink.

This is awesome and gives great shade! I filled the base with sand and water and it is very sturdy in the water, even in the wind. Have had no problems with it tipping and we have a lot of wind here. The cupholders are great, but I don't really understand the "phone holders"... It's just a little piece of plastic I guess you tilt your phone against? Well that doesn't work very well, but I don't use my phone in the pool so I don't care. My only criticism is that the connection at the two parts of the base are a little wobbly even after securely screwed together. It's not a big deal once it's in the water, but out of the water you can tell that connection is a bit weak. So far so good though, just take care getting it in and out if the pool by lifting from the lower part of the base (that has the sand in it).

This is very durable and solid. I saw an ad and wondered if it would really work as advertised, but my backyard is very windy and this thing would not ever blow over. A big hit overall!

Great idea but massive design flaw/ there are two pieces of plastic that you screw together- i had to pack the bottom with rocks and sand to make it heavy enough to not topple over- well the top piece doesn’t screw in air and water tight Or straight- I tried multiple times so did my husband- but it worked- well when my husband took it out of the pool to allow robot to clean pool he put it on the cement something maybe wind knock it over onto my lounge chair in the night and the connection dented so now it’s even more crooked- pieces need to be way sturdier now it’s pretty much on its last legs- and is a few weeks old. Again I love the idea of it but the design needs to be fixed- also the water got in the base and the mud and rocks are wet now- how long til that’s filled with nasty mold? Terrible design. If that could be fixed I’d give it 5 stars.

We're very pleased with the umbrella. It serves its purpose well and stays upright with both bases being filled with sand. I'm very displeased with the cup holders. The outside edges are VERY short and won't hold up a bottle of water or anything other than a short tumbler. Everything tips over, regardless of movement in the water. We're hoping to come up with a plan to make an insert to hold something other than short stainless tumblers. I would probably return it if it wouldn't be such a pain to now empty the sand from bases.
