The umbrella is defective and poorly constructed. The part that is supposed to secure and tighten the pole (the washer/bolt) does not tighten properly, leaving the entire umbrella pole loose and unstable. I purchased two of the same umbrellas, and both have the same issue. The umbrellas are also very flimsy overall. Additionally, Part 3 does not screw in completely, which prevents the umbrella from being assembled securely. Even with a small amount of wind, the umbrella becomes loose and comes out of the base. Because of these defects, the umbrella is not stable or safe to use.

Here’s my 2 cents… I filled both my containers with gravel, screwed them together.: easy peasy… put the string through the top piece, set the pole into the plastic housing, tighten it.. season to do, fits nice and secure, set it in my pool, added the umbrella.. really easy… and there you have it! I can see if you have a nice still pool/ large pool to keep splashing away.. it’s nice and stable, but fun splashing-waves hitting the sides could make it hard to hold your drinks. It’s just me in my pool.. so no waves I can set my speaker-phone-soda.. what ever I want and it’s good to go. The sting has a hook you can attach to your floatie.. so no need to hold it. It’s a great product if you use it right! I wouldn’t fill with sand.. stones anchor it more securely.. Great concept goof value for your money. Easy to remove from your pool, but no need.. just take the umbrella down and store— comes with storage bags. Very nice. I’d buy it again! Ps.. if your umbrella takes a powder, it’s the cheaper umbrellas that’ll fit in the stand.

Well, the instructions suck. Maybe not really. But the instructions could be better. The umbrella itself is amazing. Holds a yeti cup just fine, tilts a little if there’s only one, but it provides amazing shade and is the cup holder we needed. Would recommend if looking for something affordable.

Love this! Took chilling in my pool to the next level. Provides the shade I want while keeping my drink and music with reach. Super easy to set up, made of durable plastic, and I really love that comes with a cover for the umbrella to protect it when not in use. It also comes with a storage bag for the other pieces which will come in handy when we remove it from the pool during the winter.

We're very pleased with the umbrella. It serves its purpose well and stays upright with both bases being filled with sand. I'm very displeased with the cup holders. The outside edges are VERY short and won't hold up a bottle of water or anything other than a short tumbler. Everything tips over, regardless of movement in the water. We're hoping to come up with a plan to make an insert to hold something other than short stainless tumblers. I would probably return it if it wouldn't be such a pain to now empty the sand from bases.

I cannot say enough about this table! Bought it as a Father's Day gift and my husband loves it! Very sturdy - even the umbrella. It floats nicely - there's a cord that you attach to the umbrella which keeps it securely. One issue I had is that even filling the base with sand it kept tipping, so I attached a cord to the top of table and attached a hand weight - problem solved. I don't know if using water as the weight instead would make this unnecessary.
