I purchased mine several weeks back and to be honest with you my expectations were pretty low Considering the price. I've used and love this little Grill so much that I that I went back to Amazon and bought 3 more To give out for Christmas. What attracted me to the grill aside from the price was the size. As a household of 2 I don't always need one of the larger electric grills that i have i was unsure about the size at 1st at 1st but but even though it's small you can still fit as don't fit 4 hamburgers or a couple Paul very nice sized steaks. Because it's smaller it heats up pretty quickly and and efficiently. If there are any cold spots on the grill top They're not very significant. The overall fit and finish of the grill is pretty impressive without any rough spots on the nonstick surfaces.. Speaking of nonstick surface I've I've cooked everything from from steaks, Burgers, Chicken chests, Grilled cheese, Shrimpskewers, And tons of different kinds of veggies. The non stick surface has held up pretty well making clean up clean up very easy also oh the grill top is removable and dishwasher safe. This worked okay the first time I used it. All attempts since it has smoked so much my smoke alarm went off. I ended up not using it at all after that first time. I cleaned it exactly the way I was supposed to, so there's reason for it to smoke so much. I thought maybe leaving it on for a little while, to maybe burn off whatever was causing it, might work. It didn't. 2 stars instead of 1 because I was able to actually use it the one time, though it's useless to me right now and will end up being tossed in the trash. ... show more

I find this difficult to get the right temperature for whatever I am cooking. I can choose between 1) underdone food that looks very appealing, or 2) properly cooked food on the inside that is burnt on the outside.
