I purchased these for the gym only. I don't like having to keep up with a coat or jacket, so I wanted some removable sleeves to wear from the car to the building to cut the chill. These are not thick at all, but I knew that. They are thin, but seem to made of good quality. They have a good stretch to them and are easy to put on and take off. They fit my arms perfectly (I am 5'3, around 130 pounds). I don't feel restricted when wearing, and they fit all the way up my arm (pretty to the bottom of my shoulder). I think these would be a good purchase for those who play sports and want to have arm coverings or even for someone who just wants to wear them under a t-shirt as a fashion statement (or to shield them from the wind or sun). My high school aged daughter uses these sleeves for volleyball. The sleeves are a compression style spandex and cotton mix. They are breathable and thin, easy to put on, and reasonably durable. She has great tactile feedback from the ball through the sleeves as well as protection from floor burns when diving. She has put holes in many shirt sleeves, often with a first-time wear, and these sleeves have lasted through two tournaments and many practices without any holes or melted material. The only complaint shared has been the having to frequently adjust the top of the sleeves back up her arm. Some rubber dots around the top of the sleeves would be helpful. Handed these out to my basketball players and they love them. Cool looking and keeps the shooting arm warm and protected from scratches. I will say these are NOT compression sleeves. So don't be fooled by that. Fit well for 5th and 6th graders though. Not sure about adults.

Quality material. Not too stretchy. I put these beside my gloves so when it’s time for yard or garden work the gloves and these sleeves are with me. It protects my arms from scratches when picking wild berries, keeps bugs way and I do put some deterring essential oil smells on them to repel bugs when I’m gardening. These arm sleeves are good for sun protection while riding a bicycle or driving a car on a hot sunny day. They stretch comfortably. I bought these as covers for my new tattoos, as I didn't want any burnt skin on top of the tattoo. They are thin and stretchy, and block the sun well, and do not irritate my tattoos. These are great for anyone wanting to prevent sunburn on their arms.

I tried these on different arm sizes for different situations. I tried them on chubby arms for tattoo and I also tried this on a young athletic arm during basketball to see how it would do. Both times, this fit properly and did not slide off during use. I was very satisfied with the outcome. Sweat did not have them rolling down or extended use. They fit my 11 year old amazingly well. They have a nice stretch but offer support. They feel cooling. He plays basketball and insisted he wears these. He's happy.
