This 6-in-1 works great. The heating element is easily accessible for cleaning. The removable screen covering the heating element is removable and you can easily clean it. This, by far, is the best feature this appliance has. I have had other air fryer and that is what destroys them over time is the smell and grease build up that you can't clean. The grill portion is easy and grills chicken and beef perfectly. This is definitely worth the extra money to get a higher quality product. I have not experienced any smoke issues, but I have been careful not to use any oils that would cause that problem. ... show more

I love this gadget! I can eat fried chicken again. It's not like real oil fried chicken but crispy and good. And healthier. It takes a little longer to cook than I expected but at least it does't heat up the house! So far I have just air fried and grilled chicken and both came out delicious and perfect. Grilled on the outside and tender on the inside. The thermometer in this unit works great! My next project will be pork chops and steak. I hod no problem with smoking and sprayed the grill with avocado oil. Cleaned up nicely! ... show more

Its amazing. I've had it for over a year now. And everything I've made in it turns out great. The only issue i have with it is the coating on grilling surface has been chipping off very little. Told ninja customer service about the problem and they did not care and told me to deal with it. That happened in the first month of use. ... show more

Needed to replace my generic indoor grill and already have many other Ninja kitchen items, so decided to go with this 2nd gen grill. Was not disappointed. Cooking space is just right for our family. It does take some time to pre-heat. Did our first cook with some fish(salmon) and cooked to perfection. I didn't use the included thermometer, as I have Bluetooth ones already as I've heard sometimes the included thermometer can be off some, will give it a try on next cook with my other Bluetooth ones(Chef iQ) for comparison. Cooks fast. The grill grate is nice and heavy. It is on the louder side when it's pre-heating and cooking. Usually our exhaust fan over the stove is the loudest, but this equels it and then some, almost couldn't figure out which one was louder.. haha. Easy cleanup, even though the grill is non-stick, I still do a light spray of olive oil(very light). I also put a liner(aluminum) under the grill, since it opens in the middle to make for easy and quick clean up from any juices draining. Wait till everything cools off, remove grill and liner and wipe down the inside, looks new.. haha. ... show more

It heats up super fast, saves a lot of time and electricity compared to using the oven, and makes cooking so much easier.
