So far so good. I'm more than impressed by this entries 22in griddle. Two large heating elements. The griddle top itself is very light weight and slides into brackets. The grease trap is smaller on my model vs the larger openings on other models. Say what???..... yes there are a few cons wth all those pros lol. One thing I didn't like was the hood. It slides into half opened end brackets and is not locked down. I find this should be a locked hedged that you can remove. The other con I'll say which does not effect my opinion at all, it's just a con that comes with any electric griddle. So as you notice from my photos, I had a lot of food cooking at once. The heat can not keep up the higher temperature settings when cooking large amounts of food. But it still cooks it and my honest opinion it helps with flavoring. Now I'm not going to leave you with cons that may make you change your mind because than you would be crazy! Lol the best pro I love about this griddle is the clean up. Let it cook down until the hot suffers indicator light turns off, use some paper towels and just whip off the griddle surface. A little tip when you get that good charing on some foods that appear to burn on the surface, a little water with the scraper and it comes right off it keep it and add to soups. It's amazing flovaring. So should you buy this? If not for you, buy it for someone but yes buy it! I hope this review helps! Now time to plan my next meals, cooked on my new griddle. ... show more

This thing is great. I use it all the time. The surface is tough, it doesn't scratch like you think it would. It does have a drawback though. The heat isn't even throughout the cooking surface. But what griddle has that? The edges are cooler than the rest of it. All in all it's great, you'll more than likely love it. ... show more

It can get to 500 degrees, but i noticed once you start cooking the surface loses so much heat and takes so long to recover it steams the food rather than browning. For example, I was cooking two small steaks, got it to 500 degrees, but once I put the steaks down it drops dramatically in temp and takes over ten min to get back up to temp. This results in a gray, steamed piece of meat. Prolly fine if you want to make pancakes or eggs though. ... show more

The hearing seems really uneven. The cooktop is uber slick; great for preventing things to stick, but also makes it really interesting to scoop out some foods. The biggest complaint is that the cooktop crowns as it is in the heat cycles; no longer flat and grease/oil do not stay where they should be nor go where they are expected to go.
