So far so good. I'm more than impressed by this entries 22in griddle. Two large heating elements. The griddle top itself is very light weight and slides into brackets. The grease trap is smaller on my model vs the larger openings on other models. Say what???..... yes there are a few cons wth all those pros lol. One thing I didn't like was the hood. It slides into half opened end brackets and is not locked down. I find this should be a locked hedged that you can remove. The other con I'll say which does not effect my opinion at all, it's just a con that comes with any electric griddle. So as you notice from my photos, I had a lot of food cooking at once. The heat can not keep up the higher temperature settings when cooking large amounts of food. But it still cooks it and my honest opinion it helps with flavoring. Now I'm not going to leave you with cons that may make you change your mind because than you would be crazy! Lol the best pro I love about this griddle is the clean up. Let it cook down until the hot suffers indicator light turns off, use some paper towels and just whip off the griddle surface. A little tip when you get that good charing on some foods that appear to burn on the surface, a little water with the scraper and it comes right off it keep it and add to soups. It's amazing flovaring. So should you buy this? If not for you, buy it for someone but yes buy it! I hope this review helps! Now time to plan my next meals, cooked on my new griddle. ... show more

Only used a few times but so far great! Have only cooked burgers and dogs on it to date but very easy to clean. Push all grease into bin (lined with foil prior). Then while still hot carefully using paper towels wipe clean let cool and cover. I also make sure I clean the lid each time. Unattach lid clean mild soap water dry then reattach. ... show more

Just used this griddle for the first time and I like it. Lots of cooking area, surface heats up fast enough for me, although I had to keep the temperature control all the way up ( 500 ) throughout the bacon and burger cooking, but it did heat evenly which I can’t say for most electric griddles I’ve had. ... show more

This new electric Blackstone grill is amazing. We use it in the house for breakfast, meats and so much more! It’s not that heavy that you can’t store it under a cabinet. We actually keep it in the kitchen all the time in the lower cabinet. We take the gas we grill for camping but may start taking this one! ... show more

My disclaimer is that I rarely ever give a 5 Star review, so the best I would give is likely a 4 Star however; I bought this grill with the intention of frying sliced potatoes, very often. I typically use a cast iron skillet, just barely coat the bottom with oil, and cook them. My biggest complaint is, that this griddle is not flat..... it is crowned up in the middle, and all the oil runs to the sides and the corners of the griddle. This design is probably to help any grease that seeps out of the food, to run off and away from the food, and that serves 95% of the users I suppose, however that designs ruins my plan for this griddle. Having said that, this is a nice griddle. I like the fact it has a lid; I like the fact it has two independently controlled temperature zones, and the surface is in fact very slick and seems to be non stick. In the photo you can see the oil around the edges of the pan.... At times, I need the entire surface for cooking potatoes, but I will be unable to lightly coat the entire bottom with oil. Disregard the spaghetti on the right.... I was just heating that up. I did not fully make the spaghetti on the griddle. 3 Stars because it is a nice griddle, would have been at least a 4 Star if the bottom was flat... but All-In-All, it is a nice griddle and I will keep it, but if I had it to do over again, I would buy another griddle for much less money, and give that a try. ... show more

Talk about a game changer. Love this griddle. The way it cooks chicken and hamburgers and the way you can make hibachi on it is amazing.. use bacon grease makes this even better. Chicken comes off tender and very moist. I have done from all that to even breakfast and it is amazing.. if you like the one you can use out side then you will love this indoor one as well. ... show more

    • Stay away. Worst temperature control ever
If I could give 0 stars I would. I purchased two units and both exhibited the same problem. Set to 325, read 415 at the center and 260 at the edges. On the second unit, the base would pop out of the back and deform under heat.
