This was listed as a large coop. I would say small. I wouldn't keep 4 full size hens in it permanently. It's perfect for what I am using it for. Smaller breed birds and isolation for breeding. Unfortunately the hardware was not labeled and the pre drilled holes did not line up. This was extremely difficult to assemble. Other than that it seems to be pretty sturdy. But I guess you get what you pay for. It's not perfect but will work for what I need it to.
