This hose fitting was easy to add to the existing water faucet outlet. It is made out of brass, well constructed and heavy duty. It is very easy to switch from one hose to the other or you can open both if you have the water pressure.     • It works - so far
2 way Hose Splitter looks like the one sold in Home Depot which I had to replace because the part which screws onto the faucet broke off from the splitter. Hopefully, this splitter is more sturdy. Also, use the plumber's tape on all connections, otherwise, it is leaking.

I bought this valve, knowing it was more expensive than others. I really hoped that it would be durable and last a long time. After 2-1/2 months, I noticed it was leaking considerable amounts of water out of the left valve (not the hose connection). I looked into contacting the seller and it was not an easy process, so I gave up rather quickly. It should have been a good valve, but it wasn't for me. Maybe they will see this review and get in touch with me. Edit: the manufacturer stood behind the product and refunded the purchase. I could not ask for more. Parts sometime fail, customer service should not and did not in this case. ... show more

    • Awfully disappointing
I bought this in July but couldn't install it on my rain barrel until August so it past my return period. I used this with my rain barrels. After the barrels filled it was leaking from the main connector. I replaced the rubber gasket and I tightened it as tight as it could and it would still leak. I added plumbing tape and it would still leak. I replaced it recently with new hose splitter from a different seller and it hasn't leaked since. The valves were also larger and easier to turn. I wish I bought the other splitter first but this splitter was the more expensive choice and had more reviews so I assumed it would be a better higher quality product but was really disappointed. ... show more

This is the end all product. Plastic lacks durability. Steel rusts and breaks down. Copper is your hoses best friend. The valves are smooth and strong. Zero leakage. The rubber rings are thick and strong. Comes with extras too. I use to replace these once a year average winter freeze would break them. Haven't needed to since switching to copper ... show more

Had major electrical work done and lawn front and back dug up. Landscaper suggested this brass splitter and set up sprinklers for reseeding both sides of house. How clever! Easy to water lawns now. Fit right on outdoor faucet. Easy to switch using turn valves on unit or garden hose nozzle.
