The media could not be loaded. This weekend i still have black smoke that smells chemically, AND the hopper box nearly caught on fire. no smoke coming from the grill side, all the smoke came from the hopper which is not correct operation of this device. See pic of the hopper nearly on fire & video of BLACK smoke & tar like substance on the outside top of the grill. I am not satisfied with this product and am quite concerned with safety of operation especially with the hopper nearly igniting and smoking really bad throughout the entire operation of this device. At temps from smoke -> 300 degrees the fan runs intermittently and the auger occasionally turns to feed the burn pot; and it seems black smoke is present at these lower temperatures. Also when I change from a higher temp (350- when the fan is running & no black smoke present) and change it to a lower temp (200-300 no fan running) the hopper box smokes up as if it is trying to catch on fire.

Received on Saturday 11/30. Took less than 10 mins to screw the handle and base stand. Due to the weight, I felt uncomfortable moving it with just the handle so used 2 hands for stability. Fired it up for tge 500 degree burn then proceeded to smoke some salmon. Smoke temp was inconsistent from the gauge vs the ambient recorded on my meater thermometer but this was simple by adjusting the temp as needed. It could be the pellets I am using. Very happy with the outcome as smoking indirectly on a gas Bull grill isnt the same. Love the smoke flavor. 5 stars...

I had the hardest time with the screws for this grill. The holes were a bit too small for the provide screws. Especially for the handle. The screws ended up stripping. Other than that, it's a well made grill. It's very sturdy, and works as expected. The start up instructions were clear, but the process took a long time. So be prepared to spend that amount of time the first you use it. The grill was able to get up to about 450 degrees (for the initial clean). After that, once it was brought down to around 165 degrees, I couldn't get it back up to the desired 225 degrees unless I set the grill temp to a high temperature and then dialed it back to 225 once it got to that temp. So there was definitely some babysitting involved. Besides those minor details, it's a nice grill.

Great little grill for the first few months. But after 4 months the digital read out is starting to go out. Then the paint is coming off and the thin metal is starting rust. I figure 6-8 months of regular use is about what you may get.
