I am beginner PB player and had purchased a couple of average/beginner paddles. I thought that if I purchased a better paddle, I might play better, and this paddle really did help. It's lightweight and does the job for me. I would recommend it! UPDATE: After using this paddle less than one month, the tape on the handle is just about all off. The less expensive paddles i purchased have held up perfectly. For this reason, I have to change my rating to WOULD recommend to WOULD NOT recommend, because of this problem.
