Update: used the product warranty to get a new base and it doesn't squeak. Honestly the fastest and best customer service I have experienced when using a product warranty. I love this chair but it's driving me crazy. I have tried lubricating it and it doesn't help. At this point it just takes up space because I refuse to listen to a crying baby all while this chair squeaks as I try to rock. Super easy to put together and glides great. However theres almost no padding in the back and seat cushions. Be prepared to add padding somehow.

My mother and I went in on this for my sister and brother in law, and I have to say it's a really nice glider! It has a gliding ottoman as well, so they glide together and is perfect for rocking the baby to sleep.

I was disappointed that the component package was missing and even more disappointed when the support line wasn’t “activated at this time”. I did later find the component package hanging outside of the box after I had repacked everything. And I love the chair.

It was easy to put together and my wife would sit in it the last month she was pregnant and she originally said that it was comfortable to sit and rock in. After the baby, we were excited to rock her to sleep and soon realized that it wasn't as comfortable after about 10 minutes of sitting. The cushion quickly wore down and the wires that held you in the chair would be easily felt when sitting. The arm covers wouldn't stay buttoned either, which resulted in the remote, or item for baby, to fall repeatedly. Overall, it does work as intended but not for extended use. If baby is particularly cranky and you sit for more than 10 minutes, your back and butt will feel sore. ... show more

I am disabled and I wanted a rockingchair to get out of my bed some. I am really happy with the chair and Ottoman. I bought, light Grey in color. Looks great in my Lilac room. You will need a tiny screwdriver to attach the arm pads.
