It works really well, i really like it. The first one i got was damaged but amazon return was easy. Convenient size, the removable rubber tray makes cleaning it easier. Due to it's size is good for max 2 cats. I have 4 cats and they make bigger clumps (they decide to pee within the same hour in the same spot) and sometimes the big clump fills out the bottom tray blocking the sensor, requiring me to change the bag often. Will have to explore different litter to see if I can help it. The small bag and tray is something that im willing to work with because I hate carrying heavy bags full of cat waste, so small works for me even if it requires changes every other day. Very quiet, lowered smell in the area, but it also depends on the litter you use. Great value as it works better than the rake automated ones for the same price.

This is an open top automatic litterbox, with sufficient space for any of my three cats to hop in and pop a squat.. Cat #1 is 15 pounds, #2 is 8 pounds, and #3, a half grown kitten, is about 6.5 pounds. There are no "smart" features, so no app to monitor whats going on, or detect any trends. The front panel is three buttons and four lights. You have to figure out whats going on from those. It comes in several pieces, and you assemble them fairly quickly, without needing tools. This also means that you can easily break down the components and clean them. There wre several sensors that detect motion in and around the box to indocate when the tray must be cleaned, or that movement is nearby. When movement is detected, the box stops whatever it was doing and waits until its safe to continue. The bottom tray holds bags that when flat are 28 x 11 inches. Not the biggest tray, and not the biggest bin, but enough to carry one cat for over a week. If you have three, like I do, expect to be changing the bin bag 2 to 3 times a week. Once, the bin sensor triggered (red indicator) but it didnt need emptying, just the contents had piled up on one side and it needed a shake to settle it in. The instructions call for bentonite/mineral litter, not corn, wheat or soy. I didnt read that until the box was operaing with wheat litter. After this is gone, I'll switch. Seems to be going alright for now. The operation involves the tray slowly flipping backwards and sifting out the clumps and dropping it into the bin below. A good clumping litter is your friend. Otherwise you will be cleaning the comb and escape route frequently. Operation is very quiet, quieter than any other auto boxes I have. The instructions are clear, and includes tips to transition your cat from the current box, to a new one. ISSUES - The open top box does seem to require more space than another covered automatic box I own, so if you have a tight space for it to live in, this may not be the best box for your home. If you have an excavation cat - the one guy who flings litter across rhe room, while digging to China - this is not the box for you. Cat #1 isnt the worst digger, but he reached the outside mat placed there to catch his excess litter. If you have a cat that likes to dig a hole first before doing his thing, its not a deep tray. Auto boxes operate on clearing the tray quickly, rather than providing more space for them to work with. Sensors provide safety for curious cats sticking faces and paws around moving parts. But three curious cats and a curious dog can effectively stop this thing from doing anything until all four get bored. Cat #3 who has never seen an autobox took to it quickly, and was un alarmed. A smart dog that appreciates cat leavings will quickly learn to raid the freshly deposited deuces before the box flips, and the box will help by delaying the clean if it detects the dog is nearby.

I have a lot of cats. I have multiple homes. No I’m not bragging but that means I have cats that have their routines disrupted and they REALLY don’t like that. I also LOVE oneisall products, the manufacturer. I have many, many things from them from feeders to stainless steel litter boxes, and they are definitely a top-tier manufacturer and reasonably priced. So when this came up on. One I jumped at the chance to give it a try. My downside is that only half my cats like robot litter boxes at all. Some just simply refuse to use it no matter what. But those that do… have cut my litter-tending time in half in the days I have had this robot litter boxes up and running. It is reliable and runs its scoop routine about 3 minutes after the cat exits. It is VERY quiet, the quietest of any robot I have ever tried. It is large but has an acceptable footprint. It did not come with a ramp or step stool, and I think that is needed. I will make one. My two youngest cats are the ones who gravitated to this instantly. They just needed fresh litter to be attracted. The older cats, all over 10 years, have given it a sniff but so far have refused to use it. The same thing happened when I tried the name brand robot litter box - they are too wet in their ways to adapt I guess. But the two that have used it have cut my daily litter tending duties in half. I checked the waste bin and they are definitely using it. The litter combing is so well done and quiet I could not tell if it was working. I had to check the bin to know. I put about 10 pounds of Cat’s Pride Clumping in it, a full jug. It seems to be the perfect litter for this. Assembly at first looks like it will be daunting, but it only took about 20 minutes. The directions are. ERY good, oneisall directions always are. It could have even been intuitive as I hate written directions, but I followed them and it was really, really easy. This seems to be better made than the robots that cost four times more. The design and seam pitfalls of those units do not seem to be here. I have only been using this for four days so we’ll see how it goes for longevity and I will update as necessary. But this robot litter box is another home run from oneisall and I could not be happier… well unless all my cats decided to use it but right now I’ll take what I can get. This is an excellent product. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

I have to say this auto litterbox is by far the largest and deepest pan size, and my 18 pound cat fit comfortably inside. It was quiet, easy to clean and overall solid. The sensors were very sensitive, making it extremely safe. Appearance is good. It seems durable. The down side is the odor control and litter waste. Unfortunately the waste bin is absolutely wide open during the whole cleaning cycle, so there is no containment of odor during cleaning. On top of that because the sensors are so sensitive, if me or my cat walks by several feet away, it pauses, further waftin odors out. We keep it in our bedroom and that was just not going to work. I also wish there was app integration so I can set how long after my cat uses it to start cleaning.
