  • Great Versatile Light
Color: Moss Green
I recently picked up this Olight work light, and it’s become a must-have for me. The flexibility of the light is fantastic—being able to adjust the angle makes it perfect for all kinds of tasks, from working on my car to just using it around the house. The brightness is solid, and I love the strong magnet on the back, which makes it super handy for hands-free use. It’s built really well, too—feels sturdy in hand, and I’ve used it in various conditions without any issues. If you need a compact, powerful, and versatile work light, this one’s definitely worth checking out! ... show more

  • I'm not kind to this thing, but it's kind and dependable to me.
Color: Black
I'm a full time plumber/HVAC tech, part time farmer, woodworker enthusiast, truck modder that works in attics, crawlspaces, cabinets and engines. This thing finds a way to be useful and convenient in literally every situation I've encountered due to the magnet, the clip and the two different style lights. I've gotten it drenched from working under cabinets (although not submerged), dropped it many times, gotten it dusty with mounds sawdust and various types of insulation, used it for hours in Texas attics of 130°f and overall just worked the piss out of it without any regard for its well being. It doesn't care. It just keeps doing it's job. I lost one after 2 years, still worked great. Bought another one, still works like a champ. Got a 3rd for my dad, and I'll probably buy another to keep in my daily driver. It doesn't spotlight well, but as a worklight, it works exceptionally well. It doesn't have the dumb strobe, SOS settings and I honestly love the fact that I won't accidentally cycle through those every darn time I use it. It's simple, durable, useful as shirt pocket. Exceptional value. ... show more

  • Works good for covered truck bed light, strong magnet
Color: Black
Cool light, bright and strong magnetic base. Use mine in the back of my truck bed with a bed cover as a portable bed light instead of permanently installing. Magnetic base sticks to side of truck bed, and the swivel swings out to throw light into the main area. USB C charging is a must, and the alternative spot light to use as a normal hand held flash light is a nice addition. Olight has yet to disappoint. ... show more

  • Works great without any useless modes.
Color: Moss Green
A durable and useful little work light that has 3 brightness levels and good battery life. It's angle adjustable and has a magnetic mount base. The magnets could be stronger but are still better than most comparable lights. Also has a loop so you can hang it from something. Doesn't force you to cycle through useless flash/strobe modes that many lights offer. ... show more

  • Not the brightest or best, but if you've seen the Torque Test Channel review, well...
Color: Black
Higher output comes at a high cost to battery life, this light throttles it pretty low, but in doing that ensures you'll likely be able to finish the job before you run out of light. Emitters are much more efficient these days so you wind up getting either much more light or longer runtimes per watt. UI is nothing special, but it's ok for a work light: COB comes on in medium mode, high, low, then off. If you linger on a level it will go straight to off. 2 levels on the end light. It is so many colors across the beam profile I'm not even going to guess, emitter swap looks easy so may put in Nichia or Cree. It's sort-of throwy but the hotspot is pretty big, sheesh, it's a work light and it's probably fine if you are ok with not having the brightest light in the world. ANY light is better than none. Magnets work great on appropriate metal surfaces, cool clip integrated into base, the detent for the angle adjust is surprisingly strong, the case doesn't feel like the typical junk plastic, as a matter of fact I wish ALL of my plastic devices were made out of this plastic! Torque Test Channel did a work light review and this was included in the group, the runtimes and durability kept surprising them and that sold me on it. I've had my 2000 lumen Hank lights, they're great, but with the work I do sometimes just a little light (for a long time) is enough. I'm a cheapskate, budgetlightforums has spoiled me to the decent but budget priced lights, but if you get this on sale and don't use it as an EDC you'll probably be happy. Building this with a user-replaceable battery would definitely reduce it's robustness and increase it's size, if the light holds up there's a good chance a replacement can be found if I'm lucky enough to live that long. If they had it to do over again I'm pretty sure they would've had the battery port and power button offset instead of directly across from each other on the side. I wind up mashing on both of them. All this nitpicking is just the flashoholic talking, this is a decent light with great runtimes and durability. I will change the colorful emitter in the end but a normal person wouldn't even care. Honestly, it seems like yesterday that the MiniMag 2xAA was introduced and OMG I CAN WORK ON THINGS IN THE DARK! Now I spend a little more and get a rechargeable work lamp with 2 styles of emitters, magnets, clips, different levels (!), and I complain? I am a monster. ... show more
