It gives a bright light; the unit is lightweight, compact and well designed yet tall enough it can sit on a table and serve as a desk lamp to brightly illuminate paperwork without shining into your eyes, as well as the more typical work light for outside or automotive work. It has a built-in hook that lets it hang from the hood of your car to check the engine at night in case yours (as mine) does not have its own under-hood light. It's a great design, you get two of them for a very reasonable price and you'll readily find uses for both. It also has a charging LED light. The only "issue" which is probably intentional to keep it sealed, is that the rubber plug over the USB-C charging port is quite hard to remove. I couldn't do it with a finger or fingernail, had to gently dig it out with a pocket knife. That didn't damage it, the plug is tough and still seals well. That's a minor issue, it's a solid 5 * overall. Good product! Long-pressing the switch gives you a bright red or (with another short press) flashing emergency light for warning other vehicles if needed. It also has an LED at the end of the work light arm that can be used inside tight spaces (blocked with wires, or whatever) to let you see what's what in otherwise inaccessible or shadowed areas. Really well designed unit.

Light is bright and covers a wide area. Great for under a car or in an engine bay. Magnet could be stronger but hard to argue with anything at this price point. It does have a hook on the base that could be used to hang the light if wanted. Battery seemed to last for at least 3 hours of continuous use on high, not sure how long it will stay bright as I left it on by accident and it was completely dead by morning.

Holy crap! These suckers are bright. Already used em working on my motorcycle. They also worked perfect for grilling at night time. Nice weight to them, feel great in the hand. Magnet is super strong and having the hanger is awesome for under the hood. Really versatile light. Doesn't get super hot like alot of LEDS can. They last quite a while too!

Not a bad light considering the price point for a pair of lights. They are reasonably bright considering the length of the LED strip. Battery life is about average. There are some cons to them as well. First off, the switch on the handle is very sensitive to touch and if you are trying to hold the light you will invariably keep changing the brightness accidently. Very irritating. Another issue is balance. If you try to stand it up on its end on a surface that's the magnet will not attach to, it tends to tip over very easily even with the light bar in a full upright vertical position. The problem is the light bar is heavier than the handle and its top heavy. Sometimes it will even rotate and or/slide downward when the magnet is attached to a vertical surface and the light is in a horizontal position. My final gripe is the pain in the @$$ dust cover over the USB charging port. Its seems to get in the way when plugging in a USB cable and its a little difficult to push it back in place after the light has been charged, A nice feature is there is a red LED indicating its being charged and its turns green when fully charged. Overall, for the price its hard to beat this light pair. But it is not really suitable for most professional uses. Its magnet is nit strong enough and doesn't throw enough light for professional use. Otherwise its great for hobbyist and DIY'rs. Update (June 2022): I've had this light set for 8 months now and thought I'd do an update. I removed the rubber dust covers from the charging port. It was just to darn irritating to put up with any longer. One of the lights switch has gotten kind of wonkers. If you shake the light or bump it, the light will change settings or turn on or off depending on what state it is in. The battery charge does not last as long as I'd like but the based on the size of the base, I would guess that it has on "C" size battery (?). As I stated in my original review, the switch is overly sensitive on one of the lights. What I didn't mention is the handle/base or rather short and even someone with small hands will invariably "trip" the switch when grabbing the light. The magnetic base is not very powerful and seems to work best in the vertical position. In retrospect, I wish I had spent the same amount of money and bought a single HF Braun-brand work light. I changed my original star rating from a 4 to a 3.
