I'm writing this having purchased two of these units and used them for over a year in a professional automotive repair capacity. At this time, both are broken and no longer in usable condition. I used both lights daily at work, as I said for over a year. I loved the quality of light they provided and the convenience of their form factor. However, for my line of work, they have not proven tough enough. The magnets would often lose their grip and fall off of a vehicle I was working on, and this eventually broke the plastic housing enough that they no longer function. I can't fault the lights for this, but I do fault them for a couple other things. The battery life decreased drastically during the course of the lights' lives, only putting out a half hour of light at this time. As well, the magnets are prone to falling out and I had to glue them in. Overall, I really like this style of light, but I'd need something more rugged for my line of work. The battery life isn't too big a deal considering how easily the batteries are replaced. I would purchase something like this again for at home use, but not for work as an auto tech. ... show more
