Plenty of surface area to have my two 27 inch monitors and my laptop open so I can work with three screens. I'm thinking about about adding my 24 inch monitor and closing my laptop. I have plenty of open area for paperwork and writing space. A comfortable eye distance from my chair or standing to the monitors. There's 3 memory settings, desk rises and lowers at a steady pace without jarring movement. I'm 5'2" desk highest setting is above my shoulders. My husband put the desk together in about 2 hours after watching YouTube videos and suggestions from reviews. He used double-sided tape to attach the controller, screws are too long. Just bought a walking pad to pair with my desk for exercise while working. Work from home using desk five to six days a week, five to eight hours a day with an occasional 10 day. 4 stars because it took a longer shipping time than the original order shipping time. This is my first adjustable height desk and I'm loving it. I was using a custom made fixed height desk that was 6ft long and 3ft wide so I wanted something similar, so when I saw this desk that was 71x36 it was perfect. Dual motors make it lift and lower with ease and it's not super noisy. My biggest worry was the fact that it wasn't a solid piece of would, as there are 3 secitions you piece together. I was worried about whether or not the seems would line up well and if it would make using a computer mouse difficult. After assembly (which was very straight forward and fairly easy to do) the seems seemed to all line up pretty well. I went head and bought a $15, 36 inch long desk mat that I laid down on the desk to put my keyboard and mouse on and it worked great for not having to deal with the computer mouse running over the seems of the wood. All in all this desk has been great! I've only had it for a week, but so far it gets 5 stars. ... show more

I was a little hesitant to get this desk due to negative reviews about screw holes not being pre-drilled. This was definitely NOT the case. ALL the required holes were pre-drilled and that made it very easy to assemble. This is a one-person job to assemble BUT a two person job to move. This is a very sturdy but heavy desk. Lots of great top space and very adjustable vertically. I highly recommend this desk if you need a standup desk and/or lots of space. ... show more

Fairly simple to assemble and put together. One thing to note, make sure you push the pieces ALL THE WAY TOGETHER before screwing everything down. I thought I had pushed them tight but they were just slightly apart and I could see through the crack. You do have to drill but was very simple to follow and there is a like in the instructions to an assembly video. Between the vid and the instructions, the assembly welt very well.
