This thing is great, it can essentially clamp onto any appropriate place. You just have to squeeze a lever slightly to adjust the clamp and secure to a surface. It was very easy and took a small effort to tighten it with the lever. To release you just hit a button and the clamp unlocks. The light has two settings for brightness, both are sufficient enough in a dark space. Just a quick and easy click of the orange button will active the light. This is very helpful when you are working in a space with low light. I find it most handy to not have to hold a flashlight, or my phone flash light when doing work. With the multi positioning it gives a lot of options of placement while you work. I've already been able to use this while repairing a part on my washer to help see in the back panel area. I found no problems using the light, and hope it has a long lasting life. ... show more

Good light, but it came with corroded batteries. Replace them as soon as you get it.

    • Good light/great versatility!
This is a good light, but not great enough for 5 stars. I do like it and will keep it since it works ok and is better than not having it. My biggest complaint is you have to remove 2 screws to replace the 4 AA batteries. Doesn’t seem like a big deal till you have to go hunting for a screwdriver or don’t have one readily available. The light output is good with it’s one LED bulb if that’s the correct term for it, but would be great with just one more bulb. The rotating head is great. The clamp is good but not super strong. If you bump it, chances are it may fall. Bottom line, its good, but would be great with more light output, a stronger clamp mechanism, and a battery cover that doesn’t require a screwdriver to open. ... show more

    • Very versitile work light
Very nice work light, the clamp is easy to use and holds securely. The light has 2 brightness levels and is quite bright. I was at first glance wishing the beam could be focused, but the flood pattern is very even and lights the area well, so after using I was not left wanting a focusable beam anymore. The swivel and tilting head puts the light right where it needs to be. When the light is turned off the ring around the head glows brightly to find easily in the dark. A bonus is the light comes with batteries already, I wish they were rechargeable though, since you do need a screwdriver to change them, so they are not quick change. Overall this is a very nice light that seems to be able to hold up for many years. I would not hesitate to buy again for myself or as gifts. ... show more

This light is easy to use and works really well. The soft clamp easily and securely attaches to multiple surfaces and work areas. The LED light is very bright and provided excellent lighting while working. The swivel and bendable light head is definitely an asset and is helpful with those hard to see areas/items such as under the car hood and small screws. Jan 2020: Update to original review (3/19). I went to my garage to get the light and use it again after a couple of months. It had been stored in a cool, dry tool chest, and it would not work. When I opened the battery pack (original batteries installed) they were corroded and had destroyed the entire battery case. I removed the batteries, tried cleaning the inside and putting new batteries inside but the light would not work. Upon further inspection, it appears that the corrosive batteries have destroyed the circuit board therefore the light will no longer work. I'm pretty disappointed! I really liked this light. It seems like a design flaw. ... show more

Wow! I love this flashlight! The grip is strong, the light is super bright! It has 2 settings, high and low beams. The release lever is so simple and easy to use. I really like how the "feet" can rotate so that you can basically clamp this on to any object needed. And the head also rotates! The best part is that it folds up nicely and can be used as a regular flashlight. It fits nicely in your hand and it's really lightweight. I'm not joking when I say that anyone on my Christmas list this year will get one! This is a great tool! ... show more

This light is fantastic! I had been looking for a light that I can clamp easily and point where I want it. That has proven tough trying to use those flexible ones, but this guy is the real deal. It works like the good clamps where you can get it with exactly the pressure you want it.
