The media could not be loaded. We did a dry hatch since we are in south texas and have high humidity and had great success, hatched 17 total chicks out of 20 eggs placed. We just set them and didn't have to do anything till it was time to remove the rollers. Worked perfectly without issue, nest round will be starting soon. May even try some turkey eggs to experiment with as well

I have used this incubator for one cycle of chicken eggs. 3 eggs hatched out of 14. All 3 of the chicks that did hatch ended up dying, 1 was weak and drowned, 1 was too premature and another had a deformed wing and leg and ended up dying. I have a 50% hatch rate with my other incubator and the chicks hatched from it are always strong and healthy. I wanted to try and trouble shoot what was going on so when putting in my next round of eggs I marked each side to check for rotating. That night and the following day I checked the eggs, only to see that they had not been turning. I am giving this product one star because it is a brand new unit and I am having to hand turn the eggs.

I've had a few different types of incubators. This one is one of the better ones. It seems to hold its temperature well and has great visibility for when I want to look at the action. We have hatched a couple of different batches with this incubator and it is holding up really well so far.

Immediately realized the Styrofoam is attached (glued actually to the sides) and I wanted to be able to see the eggs and it was advertised as only needing it for colder areas as we had in the house, we painfully removed it. During the incubation period I had to add water 2x daily as it would not hold humidity. I finally just gave up and moved eggs to my 2 smaller incubators. It's very hard to clean as the wire is very hard to get unattached. Overall it's not a good incubator. Ugh.

Don't waste your money. Egg turner wire was broken. It is a very thin wire. We did fix it. Now after a few months . The motor for the turner is broken.

First one arrived and the turner didn't work at all. I contacted the seller through Amazon and had a response within 12 hours. The seller went ABOVE and BEYOND to make it right with me by sending me a new unit incredibly quick. The replacement unit works as it should. Here's what I DON'T like about this unit: The egg roller piles the eggs up at the end and as a result, I need to straighten them out constantly, which means I have to open the cover. Not the best design. Humidity: this unit comes with a squeeze bottle for water. You have to insert it in the tiny hole on the side. I don't have time to constantly be adding water to it all day to keep the humidity perfect and that is what you have to do. If you add the entire bottle, the humidity soars to over 60%+ and in turn, your eggs are ruined. If you only add enough water to get you to your 45-50% humidity, it drops down significantly within hours. On the positive side, heat stays steady in this unit. With some significant improvements, this could be a nice little unit. Again, seller is outstanding!!
