I waited a while to review this hose, as it is the first time I've purchased one that wasn't made of rubber or plastic. I will never go back! This hose is flexible at any temperature, so easy to roll up, and lightweight. It doesn't leak or kink. The spray attachment is mediocre, but it often comes with hoses as a giveaway.

Box arrived with the inner tab on the top open and otherwise unsealed as if re-packaged. All parts were present though and the product appeared new with no obvious damage or signs of use. Appreciate the flexibility and how lightweight this hose is overall. The precisely machined, widely-knurled hose end also made it easier to hand-tighten onto the spigot, though a crescent wrench was needed to nicely tighten it on. No leaks in the few days I've used it, so far. Headline speaks for itself after having had to use considerable elbow grease to dislodge this hose's cheap aluminum predecessor off my iron hose spigot. Recommend applying teflon plumber's tape between hose end and spigot threads to deter galvanic corrosion (when two metals start to get busy at the molecular level and bond to each other). Minus one star just for that, may upgrade after months or a year depending on whether corrosion arises. Included multi-flow nozzle is snappy and smooth to switch, but its all-plastic connector will inevitably snap off over time as have most such exposed to full sun. I'll need to keep it under cover to maximize its lifespan.

We have small gravels on the yard so in the past, rubber hoses would be cut easily so I had to replace them frequently. Since I installed this metal shielded hose, I haven't replaced this hose since. The metal shield is very effective. I drag the hose on cement surfaces too and this hose is not beaten.
