It’s like someone sat in a room and said “wait a second… hoses stink!” Then proceeded to fix all the problems. Lightweight. Vinyl or rubber hoses are way heavier. Durable. Made of metal. Maneuverable. Vinyl and rubber hoses try to fight you wherever you want to go. Then they have a preferred coil direction and orientation which makes storing or walking with them so horrible. This hose doesn’t care where you take it or how you coil it. This hose also can’t kink. I looked at those auto-coiling hoses but they’re expensive, look like a nightmare to install (drill into the side of your house? What?) and I’m skeptical of the longevity. That product might sound enticing If you have a hose that’s hard to coil, this hose coils on a regular spinning hand crank in 15 seconds with no issues. No brainer

I was fed up with kink-free hoses kinking and getting twisted. Gave this model a try and I have say it does what it says it does. I can't kink it, no knots, withstands my 200+ pound frame walking on it and delivers a powerful stream even though the diameter seems tiny. The smaller diameter and lighter weight are handy when pulling the 75 feet at full length. Been using this frequently over the past 2 months with no problems encountered.

Great, great, great hose. Lightweight. Actually the 100 ft it says it is...vs traditional hose which isn't. So easy to use and manuever..solid connections at spout and sprayer. I worried that our sun state would make this hose too hot...it does not. Excellent hose.

I love this hose! I just purchased my fifth one. Not because I had problems with the first four, but because I keep upgrading my old hoses. They are lightweight, don't kink, very durable and easy to maneuver through the yard. My first hose is two years old, and it's just like new.

Box arrived with the inner tab on the top open and otherwise unsealed as if re-packaged. All parts were present though and the product appeared new with no obvious damage or signs of use. Appreciate the flexibility and how lightweight this hose is overall. The precisely machined, widely-knurled hose end also made it easier to hand-tighten onto the spigot, though a crescent wrench was needed to nicely tighten it on. No leaks in the few days I've used it, so far. Headline speaks for itself after having had to use considerable elbow grease to dislodge this hose's cheap aluminum predecessor off my iron hose spigot. Recommend applying teflon plumber's tape between hose end and spigot threads to deter galvanic corrosion (when two metals start to get busy at the molecular level and bond to each other). Minus one star just for that, may upgrade after months or a year depending on whether corrosion arises. Included multi-flow nozzle is snappy and smooth to switch, but its all-plastic connector will inevitably snap off over time as have most such exposed to full sun. I'll need to keep it under cover to maximize its lifespan.
