I found I like the stretch I get from the roller table even ...
I have been going to the chiropractor for a while now to deal with back pain related to sports injuries. After getting my back adjusted he has me lie on his roller table for 10 minutes. I found I like the stretch I get from the roller table even more than the adjustments. I was looking for a way to get this same type of stretch at home without purchasing a full blown roller table (they cost several thousand dollars and would take up an entire room). I found this product and figured I'd give it a try. The foam on the roller is fairly stiff and gives a nice massage as I use it to stretch my back out. There are 3 different levels of vibration and the highest one is quite powerful. The battery lasts a long time. I am very happy with how this works. It seems like the perfect thing for me to use in between chiropractor visits. Added benefit: My kids think this is great. Of course, they are kids so they have no back pain. For them this has one purpose: They lay it on the floor and put it behind their back. With the vibration turned to high and the lowest voice they can muster they can give a top notch "Luuuuuuuke, I am your father."

Highly recommend.
Because I value the reviews people write, I wanted to do my part in giving the next potential buyer an honest review for their decision making. Having said that..... I play in a basketball and street hockey league along with doing my own workouts so my body gets a nice beating. While I do try to do some dynamic stretching before along with a warm up, my body still felt beaten down after. I then incorporated a foam roller and it certainly helped alleviate some of the inflammation and tightness that had built up. I then came across vibrating/pulsing foam rollers and looked more into them. The 2 that seemed to have gotten the high ratings was this and the HyperIce Viper. After further looking into each, I took the chance with this one given the price and reviews and must say...........was not disappointed. In fact, this has brought some serious relief to my body! The rigidness and bumps on it, plus the vibration, really dig into the areas on my body releasing the tension and tightness. I have felt a considerable difference the day after playing in my games. I used to have this nagging hip flexor/groin dull ache but, unless it was placebo, it is gone after using this. I like it so much that I use it 2-3x a day. My only "complaint" is that it could be a little wider but overall, highly recommend. This will be getting much more use from me. I'm very glad I found this and very glad they make such a thing!

Learn to Love Rolling - No more Pillar of Pain!
Hate the pillar of pain? Aka, your old foam roller...the one your PT tells you YOU need to use (and you do). Learn to love rolling out those sore, cramped, tight muscles. All kidding aside - this product delivers. My coach brought a vibrating roller to run club the other day. I thought, gimic and then I tried it. It was pretty amazing. I went home and did some research and decided on the NextRoller. It has the features I was looking for and the price point is excellent. I am an olderish athlete and need to spend more time these days with my warmup and cool down. My NextRoller plays an important roll in getting me warmed up for running, swimming or cycling and I use it after activities as part of my cool down. I found that with my 'pillar-of-pain' there was just so far I could go - with the NextRoller I am able to stay with my prescribed rolling duration and intensity. Frankly, I've found it feels good rather than just hurting. Worried about the price? Just remember how much one massage, one trip to the PT costs. I bought this product back in September 2017 and have had no issues, no problems.

Save your money
I've used a foam roller for a few years. Since I'm an ultrarunner, I need such a tool. I bought this at the suggestion of a PT who got turned on to another brand claiming it worked. I should've tried it before I bought it. I'm not a fan and now $100 poorer. The vibrating function doesn't serve a purpose except to vibrate your house/apt/whatever your living structure.

UPDATE: My NEXTROLLER had stopped working... A real bummer! After a couple of months of use, the roller doesn't seem to charge fully. the first month the Nextroller last for a few days or even weeks without charge. But now I have to constantly charge it every day.

NextRoller and Bikram Yoga
I am extremely pleased with my NextRoller. I've used it for over a week now, and it's suiting my purposes very nicely. I'm an old guy, over 70, and I do Hot Bikram Yoga every day. As luck would have it, I tend to injure some part of my body quite often through over-doing things. Sometimes my back, other times, my knees, or shoulders, e.g. I've been reading Tom Brady's TB12 Method book, and it's kept him in the NFL for over 18 years now, and he's big on the vibrating foam roller as a way to help with pliability. So previously I would try to stretch (mostly static, a little dynamic) prior to yoga, and then if I had anything left in the tank afterwards, I would spend a moment or two stretching. But as I mentioned, it was not always successful, and I would be semi-injured quite often. I make a point now of using the NextRoller prior to yoga practice, and then again afterwards, and it's been very helpful. The price was good. The customer service excellent. I highly recommend it.
