the drive i received has a Maxio MAP1602A controller and YMTC QLC NAND. older reviews available online show that this drive used to come with TLC NAND, so, like many nvme ssds from various manufacturers, this drive was parts-swapped to cut costs. still, the speeds are decent, and, when on sale, this drive is a good value. around the $110 range, the Team MP44 is probably a better buy. ... show more
