This comes with a NEMA 14-30 plug, which is a plug many dryers use. There are a lot of things I like about it. For one, there's no app downloading my photos and sending them to a foreign land. All the controls are right on the charger, which is what I like. It has a "light bar" status indicator which is visible from quite a ways away, depending on the ambient light level, so you don't have to get right up on it to see what's going on. If you need more info, the display screen tells you even more than the charge status with tidbits such as the temperature of the charger, the current power usage, etc. It's all settable with a single button, and the UI is very simple to navigate and use. The quality is very good, and it's supposed to be waterproof, and I have no reason to doubt it. My personal recommendation if you live where it snows is to get an enclosure for it if it's going to be mounted outside, if only because I'd hate to clean snow and ice off it when I want to charge my car. It comes with everything you need, from a mounting bracket for both the charger AND cord, as well as a carry case for if you want to take it on the go. Compared to the price of a dealer-installed charger, the asking price is a mere pittance, and for the quality of everything you get, I'd say it's a heck of a deal, especially with the really decent 24A charge rate. 5 stars.

This robust charger is a solid addition to our home. Initially, I had a 240V outlet installed specifically for my Tesla. However, when my son decided to buy a Mazda that uses a J1772 plug, this charger made the transition painless, just plug and play. After making the switch to this charger, he was able to use our existing outlet. Confirm you have a NEMA 14-30 outlet. Compare the photo of the product plug to your outlet. There are many types of 240v outlets, and some of them are similar (only minor differences). Confirm this detail before you order. ✅PRO: The adjustable current feature is good, allowing us to optimize charging speed based on our needs. Plus, the 25-foot cable provides plenty of flexibility for parking. ❌CON: he unit and thick cable can feel slightly bulky if you have limited storage space. If you're looking to keep your electric vehicle charged up while having the ability to use different vehicle charging ports (J1772), this charger is highly effective. TIP: Make sure to regularly check the connection for any buildup of dirt or debris; cleaning it has helped maintain a consistent charging performance over time!

Pros: Ive owned several home chargers for my Chevy Volt and I must stay this one tops them all, the build quality and features are in a class all its own. The product is hefty and solidly built to withstand the elements. The product is easy to use with a built in display to show charging status. It functions even in the hot summer heat with no issue. Its not too heavy and is an overall great value for the money. 5/5.

The media could not be loaded. This is an excellent charger with carry bag, especially if you don't need a huge power delivery. My 2023 x5 45e PHEV can only accept 16A at 240v, so this is more than enough. The display is excellent, the numbers appear accurate. It clearly jumps to 7A then a few seconds later 15A, then a few seconds later to 16A - which is exactly what I expect. The charge numbers match my car statistics on the BMW app. The difference between "charged" (solid green) and "charging" (flashing green) is very subtle. (see the video) It's basically just a blink every few seconds. I guess that's good, it's not obnoxious like a rapid blink, but it's not obvious from a glance whether or not the charging is finished or not. Just be aware - it has a NEMA 14-30 plug (like a Dryer here in the US) and not the more common 14-50. If you have a 14-50, you'll need an adapter. I use this one from circlecord and it works perfectly fine. (Asin: B09P1BGZDZ) I can't tell that it's UL listed or not, so that probably means not. The plug fits firmly and I have had no issue with it tripping the mandated GFCI breaker in my garage. They seem to play nice together. Having said that - my charger and vehicle are in a dry space, so I wouldn't expect any issues.
