It’s very affordable to purchase this portable Level 2 EV charger, as it’s very cost-effective. If I had to rate it on a scale of 1 to 10 stars, I wouldn’t hesitate to give it 10 stars. On the first day I received this charger, I gave it to my friend, an electric vehicle and device expert, to inspect it. He tested its safety, and told me it met all of the standards. When I told him how much it cost, he was shocked and told me it was a good buy. After using this charger, I was very satisfied, as it was much faster than my previous Level 1 EV charger. In addition, its power cord was much thicker than my previous one, making it even safer. The seller also prepared a wall hook for the charging plug and power cord so it wouldn’t fall on the ground and get tangled. However, this isn’t just a charger you can use at home. You can also bring it along when you’re traveling if you need to charge your devices. Furthermore, the seller included a carrying case to store this charger. You can put it in your car’s trunk so it won’t take up too much space. When reading the instruction manual, I noticed that this charger had other functions such as protection against lightning protection、current leakage protection、over-hear protection、overcurrent protection、automatic power-off、Undervoltage protection、overvoltage protection and IP66 waterproof. Its safety and prevention features were extremely well-designed, so I felt assured when using it. I’ll recommend this MUETUX brand of EV charger to my family and friends. It’s amazing!

I've had the unit for 3 months at this point and have had no issues. As you can see from my pictures it's installed in an outside location. I didn't want to test the claim of water resistance so I enclosed it in a housing I made out of a plastic toolbox. I have the unit set to 32 amps. We have a '22 Niro EV which charges at 7.2 kw. As of now it has always delivered the correct charge without issue. When I ordered the unit I received a note from the seller stating that a red ground fault light would come on when not connected to the vehicle. It does but goes away once connected. I am very happy with the unit and expect extended service from it. I am also happy with the plastic holder that the charging handle plugs into when not in use. It keeps the end of it dry and gives a place for the cord to wind onto. ................ UPDATE ........ ...... like others in the review section, my charger has also stopped working. It worked fantastic for 8.5 months then started to be intermittent. It would start charging and then stop after about 10 % added to the battery. The car would still see the charger and if I initiated a new charge session through the car app it would charge another 10 %. This went on for about a week. Now the unit will not charge at all. It looks fine on the display but when plugged to the car it never initiates the handshake to start the charge. I have replaced the unit with a different brand and all is back to normal. Because of the failure I have changed the rating to 1 star and would not recommend this unit.

I've been wanting to upgrade the EVSE for by 2017 Chevy Bolt for a while now, I found this one at a great price and with the features I wanted, several are much more expensive than this with less features. The real time readouts are great and gives all the info you could ask for. The selectable charge rate is exactly what I wanted for flexibility for charging at home and elsewhere if I need to, and is easy to select and not something weird like having to swipe an RFID card like some other ones I've seen. It seems to have thicker cable than some of the more expensive ones too and it seems well built. Time will tell how it holds up and hopefully it will for a long time. My one thing is that it seemed like it selected 32A at power up, from what I read it was supposed to default to 10A (minimum), this is something to keep an eye on if you are only able to charge at a lower rate than the max. Update: After using it a few times now, when it powers up it comes up using the last selected charging rate that was used. Still so far it's been working great.
