Great small net for picking up bugs on top of the water. I also use it in the swim pool to pick up dead bugs floating under the water. Keep in mind that the handle is short and is smaller around than your average pool brush or net handle. But it is nice to go pick things up quickly from around the edge of the pool or like I said I use it in the pool side and spa side of the swim spa to pick things out quickly before they choke up the filter, since the filtration system on these things suck. But getting things picked up quickly will make your filters last longer and you won’t be cleaning filters out every time you get an earwig or grasshopper invasion. ... show more

Definitely does the job! The net is fine enough and not tearing off. My husband wishes the net was deeper but we got a second one for that. Our pool is 42" deep and the pole does flex when you have it in that much pressure working at the bottom, I'd say its more of a top skimmer. The scoop/lip at the end does well for picking things up from the bottom and guiding them into the net. The pole fills with water and leaks out the holes at the bottom when you pull it out but maybe they all do that? I don't plan on returning it but it won't be the last skimmer/net we buy ... show more

We have several different pool nets. This is one of my favorite for several reasons. First I like the close weave of the net, it keeps very small things from getting through. I like the depth of the net itself. It is not too deep making it awkward to empty thoroughly. It is also not too flat so that things bounce off the skimmer or you loose them right back in the water immediately. I also like that the handle/stick is light weight to make skimming something out of the water quickly very easy. Out of the 3 different pool net varieties we have this is by far my favorite and I would buy it again if I needed another. ... show more

The fine mesh weave and the depth of the basket allows me to pick up everything easily. I have a smallish pond and the adjustable length of the handle is perfect. It has proven to be quite sturdy as I often have to scrape the bottom rocks and it’s definitely up to the job.

Good quality net. Basket gives more ability to scoop up things (unlike some of the more flat models). The endtwner poles were nice so I could pick my length. Sturdy and has lasted all season.
