The AquaClean™ Cleaning Kit by Bestway® offers pool owners the perfect alternative to clearing pool debris by hand. Simply attach it your filter pump and you have a powerful lightweight vacuum with an extra-long hose (24.5 ft) right at your fingertips to easily clean your pool wall and floors. The included pool skimmer scoops up leaves while the vacuum sucks up algae, debris and grim. The 9 ft aluminum pole enables the vacuum and skimmer to clean hard to reach areas of above ground pools. Debris is collected into a removable and reusable debris bag. The kit includes multiple adapters for connections to all Bestway® pools and filter systems. Fits filter pumps with 530 gal./h (2,006 L/h) flow rate and above and is great for use with all above ground pools.

We bought a Bestway pool from Costco last year. It came with a 1500gph sand filter with no skimmer or floor vacuum. We tried out a rechargeable hand brush vacuum, but the glue came apart and it was an utter disaster. This vaccuum brush was a pain at first. I didn’t follow the instructions and plugged one of the two outlets while running the vaccuum. The pump kept getting air in it and I was getting frustrated. I ran the vaccuum at the same time as the skimmer and it barely worked. Luckily, some further problems happened with the filter that caused me to upgrade to a 3100gph sand filter. The upgrade made life easy and the vacuum and skimmer both work at the same time, with adequate suction. Life should be easier this summer. ... show more

    • Works great once suction started working
I would recommend for anyone who is trying to vacuum algae from their pool. We purchased 2 different battery-powered pool vacuums to eliminate dead algae from our pool. Both had nets that were not fine enough so the algae simply recirculated back into the pool. This Flowclear worked great because it goes through the tube into our sand filter. It took a minute to get the suction going, but once it was on, it was perfect. For the price, you can't beat it. TIP: Make sure to let any standing air in the tubes out as you connect it to the filter. Ours has a hex-shaped valve that we could release to remove any air. Once the circuit was cleared of air, it was perfect. We didn't nail it the first time but figured it out. ... show more

Worked as advertised, was easy to set up, battery power was adequate. I like the extra filters that come with it and it has adequate power Im pleased with the cleaner, it worked in my pool very well. The ONLY drawback was the terrible instructions.

    • Check the pump strength of your pool
I received this item not sure of what to expect. It seemed very light and cheap but at the price I was not complaining. The first problem I had was an important piece was missing. So I had to return it and get another one which amazon customer service is top notch. And that went flawlessly. Once I received the appropriate parts I hooked the vacuum up and found the small filter clogged almost immediately in the thick layer of algae I had in my pool. Took me several hours of vacuuming to get the bottom cleaned. Now this being said this pool was very thick with algae. The second problem I had. Once I hooked it up to the pool filter it would limit the water going into the intake. I would have to shut my pump off and refill my pump tanks. Now it is possible the pump I have is too strong for this vacuum I am not sure. All in all its a nice price for a vacuum that does do the job if you have the time . But prepare for a lengthy process if you have a ton of dirt in the pool. If your pool is already clean and you just want a daily vacuum it works just fine ... show more

    • Best Value! GREAT kit for the price!
I ordered this primarily for the intake/outlet adaptors with practically zero expectation of receiving a well made product at this price. I was very pleasantly surprised! I recently replaced another brand of pool with a Coleman/Bestway. Over the last 10 years I've bought supplies and accessories from my local pool supply business as well as inexpensive ones from big box retailers. This set is WELL worth the money! The vacuum head does not have wheels (relatively standard on vinyl above ground vacuums) but it is VERY NICELY WEIGHTED! This is important to me because it allows the vacuum head to maintain steady contact with the pool floor without the user exerting a lot of pressure to keep it down and in contact. I had already purchased a heavy duty 27' hose from pool supply, but this one came with a hose that's big enough for my pool. I spent twice as much on my "premium hose" than I did this entire kit. Granted, the hose that comes with this kit is much lighter weight, and you might consider upgrading the hose later if you want a heavier one. The pole that comes with this kit is as heavy duty as the premium pole I paid $28 for last year. The intake and outlet pieces (the blue pieces included) allow me to connect any 1.25" hose to the intake and outlet on my Coleman Bestway pool opening options then to use all sorts of accessories from various manufacturers. I would say with this kit you're getting at least $60 worth of pool accessories, maybe more. I hesitated because of the price being so low, but this is a solid kit and with a decade of trying different stuff in various price ranges I don't hesitate at all in recommending it.     • Hide collapses too easy
The hose collapses too easy. I have 2 intake valves on my pool. I have a skimmer hooked up to one and I hooked the vacuum up to the other, this resulted in not enough suction. I used a stopper with a small hole provided with my pool on the skimmer side and still not enough suction. Next I removed the skimmer put a complete stopper on, now the hose collapsed at the area that is not corrugated. (Not sure why there is an area like this on the hose) I tried over and over to manipulate the suction but ended with either not enough suction or a collapsed hose. I ended up having to purchase a $99 hose made for pool &spa vacuums. The other issue is the filter cartridge comes apart very easily and causes captured debris to be released into the pool. ... show more

    • It’s a vacuum that does its job
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Great vacuum. Year two of using it. I do recommend getting a real pool hose, those blue ones. Also I recommend vacuuming with the pump in “backwash” mode. I use the supplied long house to drain into the yard while vacuuming using a blue hose on the vacuum. If you don’t use backwash mode the dirt comes right back. So with those recommendations, it vacuums as a vacuum should. Yes you may need to add water that you lost during the vacuuming. You may lose two inches of water or so in 12x20x4 pool. ... show more
