    • Really helped with keeping pool surface clean.
To install we basically switched the hoses around, so the original input became where we hooked up this filter, and the 2 output holes became where the water flowed back in. It worked really well. It is manually adjustable with the water level. It helped keep the water surface clean of bugs and light debris, so not as much to clean up off the bottom. If I stepped outside I could hear it running, but not a bothersome sound. ... show more

This gadget would work amazingly if it actually stayed on the side of the pool with a couple tweaks we were able to put back in the pool so the first thing was the threaded piece that clamps to the pool snapped off we drilled a hole through it and put a bolt an washer on the end hopefully it holds second there is no grip on the plastic clamp holding it steady so it kept slipping up out of the water sucking in air to the pump witch is what caused the other piece to snapp off otherwise it works great for bugs and dirt ... show more

    • Great Addition to our above ground pool
Works great. I love that it has the option to easily adjust it up and down. Especially after a large rainfall.

    • Poor Quality & Strains Very Little Debris
The Strainer arrived and appeared to be of good quality, however, since installing it in my above ground pool, it doesn’t perform well-strains very little debris and the cup removal strap has already broken only after a few days of use. I do not recommend this item.

    • Pool Skimmer Not Very Powerful
It appears that the suction is not strong enough for this to work properly. The problem may be a pool heater that is attached to the pool. We are going to remove the heater and see if we get better results. If so, I will gladly revise my review.
