My neighbors Crepe myrtle started blooming early this year and I’ve been cleaning pink flowers out of my pool every time I go outside. Idk why I’ve never had a skimmer on my pool until now. This skimmer means business. It’s simple to use, easy to attach, and does exactly what it promises: it cleans the heck out of the surface of your pool. Just make sure your pool pump has enough power to create the vortex effect, once it’s going, nothing on the surface stands a chance. Bugs? Gone. Leaves? Sucked into the abyss. Pollen? Vanished. It’s not fancy. It’s just effective. And honestly, that’s all I needed.

This didn’t work for our 10’ Intex pool but I think because the pump that comes with the pool just isn’t strong enough for this accessory. It didn’t pull anything into the skimmer. The quality of the product wasn’t the issue, in fact it was very well build just not a fit for our use.

This product works like a dream!! Since our new pool didn’t come with a built in skimmer, this was purchased with high hopes to work in conjunction with our sand filter. I couldn’t be more pleased!! I would highly recommend for ease of installation and overall quality of working as intended!!

It works quite well, I give it 4 stars because they should mention that you need a fairly strong pump for it to do its job properly. First, I supplied it with the pump that came with the pool and it worked very poorly. When I installed a pump with a sand filter and of greater capacity, this item worked much better and met my expectations, but consider that it will depend on the filtration equipment you have in your pool.
