I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking to keep your above ground pool cleaner with less work. This will drastically cut down on the amount of manual "net" skimming required. We have a 18' metal frame pool with no integral skimmer. It has 2 suction lines and 1 return line. The setup was a breeze with the included adapters and the clamp holds the skimmer in position well. We used one of the suction ports in the pool and left the other one alone. It still maintains great skimming using only one line and surface debris moves towards it from all around the pool. The floating lip allows the skimmer to stay just below the water line without having to adjust for changing water depth. It will well worth the low cost for the amount of time saved especially with kids that drag grass into the pool. The picture is after only 45 minutes of running.

US Pool Supply over edge skimmer - Very good product. Working very well in my 12 foot Coleman pool with a Vevor 3500 GPH sand filter/pump. I know these don't work well with the small pumps that Intex/Bestway/Coleman pools usually come with. Keep that in mind if you want a skimmer.

I am very happy with how effectively this surface skimmer clears out debris and how well it fits my above-ground pool setup. It does exactly what it is supposed to do. The only downside is that the durability is slightly lacking, and I find myself needing to replace it every year. However, given the very reasonable price point, I don’t mind the annual replacement. It's a solid, budget-friendly buy that keeps the pool clean.

Absolute junk. The top of the skimmer bucket floats. You can’t fit it in tight so it works as it should. If you have a pool with two suction ports to your pump, you are wasting your time. Not enough suction to do its job properly. Would not recommend buying. The one I purchased is already in the garbage.

Works great, specifically with the Bestway above ground pool that has DIAMOND shaped bars as the top ring. I have two inlets and an upgraded 3,000GPH pump, surface was crystal clear overnight and we get tons of bugs around this time of year. The basket is a little small, but I imagine that helps with more suction power as opposed to other brands that I have ordered over the years of "above ground pooling". Super easy setup if you've dealt with these skimmers before and it comes with several adapters to swap things out if necessary. Some people mentioned it floating up, yes this will happen if you don't CRANK down the screws that hold it in place and make sure the hose is clear of any air. I highly recommend and the price wasn't bad at all!

Using this in my above ground pool, it does keep the top water clear of debris I live where I have a lot of oak trees and no screen over my pool so I’m cleaning it out 2 to 3 times daily. The only problem I have is sometimes the leaves get between the basket and the plastic container to where the water intake is, and the leaves get stuck, allowing the leaves to get through sometimes and clog up right at the pool wall. I have also had the little rubber valves come out and have had to replace them. I feel that it’s a good product without having to cut a hole in the side of my pool.
