The net is deep. I don't know why anyone would want it that way with such a short handle. A tight/flat skimmer net for cleaning the water surface would have been much more useful. This net would be better for a pet store getting a dozen goldfish out of a tank at one time. The brushes are okay, nothing to write home about. ... show more

The products in this purchase well well above expectation. The quality was superb. The only problem I had with the skimmer was that it had a butterfly net that makes it difficult to empty or clean.
