Like many of you who need this particular kind of cooling solution in the upcoming summer months, I searched for and needed an air conditioner that could be tech-smart, portable, reliable efficient. Not only did my Dreo Air Conditioner meet those requirements, it exceeded my expectations. Friends, this air conditioner provides exceptionally cool, comfortable and clean air for my condo - period! I live in an older high rise building built in the mid-70s in the San Francisco East Bay Area where most buildings were constructed without central air conditioning and typically the weather conditions aren’t very hot. Enter the 2000s and every state in the US now has heatwaves! To resolve this issue especially since my unit is on the top floor and underneath the rooftop of building, I decided to go portable with my air conditioner situation. I initially purchased it for my downstairs living room area and when I installed it, turned it on and felt how incredibly comfortable it felt to have cool air, I decided to get another unit for my upstairs area. And WOW! 🥰 The remotes, the modes, the temp controls, asking Alexa to make it happen and the ease of it all? Two word, folks: GET ONE! Before I forget, I must personally thank the Dreo Team for being incredibly responsive and professional! A BIG THANKS to Tina 💐, who embodies this ethos with enthusiasm and integrity and for making my customer service experience one of the best and most rewarding I’ve had in years! If this is what Dreo customer service, after-purchase care, and courtesy truly feels like, imagine how comfortable and COOL this unit works! PERFECT so far! I've had this for a few months. I'm using this in a small 12x12 upstairs, south-facing bedroom with no tree cover that becomes the hottest room in the house. I work nights so I also have heavy blackout curtains too and when our central A/C is sent at 68, this bedroom can be 74 or 75 according to a little room thermometer I have! And that's way too hot for me. The room has one tiny vent for the home's central air that is worthless, so I needed more cooling, so a unit like this was my best option. The hookup was simple with the necessary items to install the hose into the window. I did it with a very non-handy friend of mine so it was very easy, and its working great! I have a thermometer in the room and can tell easily its working. My thermometer also tells me the humidity in the room and the A/C obviously reduces that too. ***I am not using the removable water tray or dehumidifier function on this A/C unit because its not necessary unless the room humidity is around 85% - (like maybe a hot garage or something may be), this bedroom seems to usually stay around 50% humidity since there is SOME air conditioning from the home's central air system. I'm betting if this was in a home without central air, you may go ahead and turn that dehumidifier function on, but I do not. The remote is a great feature, or I also downloaded the app but usually I just use the remote. Either is simple and both work fine. Its only the end of May, so the real test will be July and August, but so far, its making my bedroom cool to sleep comfortably. If there are any problems later in the dead of summer, I'll update. If not, I won't and this review will stand. This is an excellent unit, and great looking in the black, at a great price. Best purchase I've made in years!!! Anything that helps us sleep better is worth its weight in gold for sure!

It’s a little bigger or rather wider than I anticipated but that’s the ONLY “complaint” or “problem” I could come up with. I’m a person who runs very hot I’m always warm. I live right near the beach and it’s humid. I like it cool in my room and especially when I go to sleep it HAS TO BE COLDD. This ac unit right here is THE ONE. It blows so cold!!!!!! Icy. Before this thing I had a different ac unit and always had to have a fan at night. With this unit I no longer need that fan. I’ve had it for 3-4 months so far and it pretty much runs 24/7…… no problems so far!!! Keeps my room and hall way perfect!!! It’s not too loud at all. Even when it’s on full blast it’s not that loud. It’s less noisy than a box fan on full blast. I love how many settings there are! You can angle where it blows, the temp, etc. the screen on the front was a problem at first because I have animals and any time they would go near it their tail would touch the buttons but fear not there’s a button to lock to front buttons! There’s a magnetic spot on top the unit for the remote control so I don’t have to worry about it getting knocked off or losing it. I couldn’t be happier with this unit. Circling back to the part where I live in a very humid area the dehumidifier aspect is everything!!! I will say you may need a hand getting it out the box because she’s a little heavy.
