My husband just recently got an electric vehicle and joined the club lol. So now that we both had electric vehicles he desperately needed a good home charger so that we could both charge our cars simultaneously. I'm really happy that we went with this one! Everything so far has been 100% as described in the ad. Excellent quality very heavy duty and well made. Nice thick cord and long enough to reach. Definitely true to the measurements on the ad so it fit perfectly in our garage where we needed it to and the cord easily reached to his vehicle. If you are familiar with using an electrical vehicle charger you can easily use this charger. You plug it in just like you would any other. Just as good as the name brand at a fraction of the cost! This charges up your vehicle quickly, and the charge lasts a long time as well! I was a little skeptical as to how well this would actually work at first but it definitely exceeded All my expectations in quality and function for sure! If you are thinking about it don't hesitate it's definitely worth the cash! Got to give it a 10 out of 10 for sure

I'd been wanting to grab a supplemental charger for our main car (Honda Clarity PHEV) for a while; nothing wrong with the one we have that came with the vehicle but the convenience of having one charger more permanently mounted at home while being able to keep another in the trunk for travel is a very welcome change. This one comes with a nice carrying bag to keep it coiled up for easy storage, and at 20 feet the cable itself is plenty long enough. After a few charge cycles this charger seems to work at least as well as the official manufacturer's one that came with the car, with comparable 0-100% charge times. There are a couple of noteworthy concerns as far as the design goes. First and foremost the plug itself fits pretty tightly on the car's standard J1772 port, so I consistently have to wiggle it around a little bit to get the thing fully plugged in. Thankfully there are the standard safeguards built in so that charging won't begin unless the plug is fully in and latched, but it is a slight pain to have to take those extra few seconds every time I plug in. Secondly, the transformer box is one I suspect is used for a few different models with different capabilities, and they didn't bother modifying the design to account for the feature differences. The model I got has one charging level at 15A, but the casing has windows for three different LEDs (two of which are unlabeled) and a non-functional amperage-switch icon. The included documentation does reference a button to switch levels on some models, but it would have been nice to see the extra icons and LED windows removed to avoid confusion (I first thought the extra lights were extra status indicators but they don't seem to light up at all). Overall this charger does what it needs to, which is what's most important, but at a price point comparable to most other third-party EV chargers I'd do some research on what options are out there before fully recommending this above all the others.

This EV charger level 1 (15A, 110V) offers solid performance but comes with some trade-offs. The simplicity and reliable charging capabilities is greatly appreciated and I can even go further and say that it performs better than other, fancier chargers that had failed after a short time. The charger’s long, sturdy cord and straightforward design are frequently praised, making it easy to use and convenient for daily charging needs. However, it’s not without its downsides, it looks like you may end up with missing charge level indicators and a flimsy rubber strap on the weather cap depending on your luck, meaning a lack of quality control on the product's end. While it charges vehicles faster than standard chargers, the lack of detailed charging indicators can be frustrating. Overall, it’s a dependable and compact charger, but there may be better options at its price point for those seeking higher quality materials and features.

This Morec level 1 EV charger was packaged very nicely and arrived in a box that contained the charger and a backpack-style carry case. Upon opening the box, the first thing I noticed was that all but the 15 amp charge level indicators were missing. That did not give me a very good feeling about quality control on something that could easily set my garage or car on fire. The other discrepency was that the picture of the item clearly shows that it is capable of charging at 16 amps on maximum setting. My unit has a label that shows it tops off at 15 amps which arguably is in the description of the product. The charger worked fine overnight and charged our plug-in hybrid in 10 hours which is about 2 hours quicker than the 12 amp charger that came with the vehicle. That seems about right when the input amperage is 25% higher. The overall build quality of the charger seems a bit lower than the quality of our OEM charger with the most noticeable issue being the dust/weather cap having a very thin rubber strap holding it on that will definitely not last. There are no other charging indicators other than a flashing light and it continues to flash even after the vehicle is fully charged which isn't really helpful. Overall, this is decent charger but at this price point would likely look around for something without so many compromises. 3/5 stars.

This is a portable charger to be sure but it does require overnight charging if there is a lot of output needed to top up a battery of even medium size on an EV. It does 15A which is right at the top of Level 1 charging so it's versatile and can plug in anywhere. I think we'll keep it here at home for a small EV that doesn't require a lot of juice and do overnight top-ups, at which it excels.

It's not the fastest charger around but there's really nothing to complain about with this charger. It is very well made, installation is straightforward and it does exactly what it is supposed to do. It also looks good while taking up very little space and the cords are pretty long.
