Man, let me tell you about this metal awning I put up over my front door — it changed how I deal with weather, straight up. Used to be, every time it rained, I’d be juggling groceries, keys, and trying not to drown before I even got inside. Rain hits this thing and slides off like it’s scared to stick around. That metal roof sings when it rains — a low, slick rhythm that sounds like peace of mind. Setting it up wasn’t bad either. I’m no pro builder, but it came with everything I needed and made sense. Couple bolts, a drill, and a little attitude, and it was up. It’s solid too — like, “you can hang off it” solid. The frame’s got that heavy iron feel that means it’s not going anywhere. Wind hits, snow piles up, and it just shrugs it off like it’s bored. What’s wild is how the angle actually adjusts. You can tilt it depending on the season — up in the winter to grab some sunlight, down in the summer to block that scorching heat. And during heavy rain, just tweak the angle a bit, and all that water rolls off smooth. No pooling, no leaks, no drama.

This is just what we needed for our home. There is no cover at the front door. This awning worked out great. It's not complicated to assemble. It comes with easy to follow instructions. Assembly does take a little time to put the awning together. Make sure to pre-drill the wall holes for the mounting brackets. This will make hanging the awning much easier. Awning assembly can be done by one person, but mounting above the door will require additional help. It fits the front door well and provides the rain protection we desired and looks good. This awning was a great idea. I was a little bit worried about the task of assembling it but it really wasn't as complicated as I thought it would be. Everything is pre-drilled and threaded so it went together rather quickly. I like that it was the perfect size to cover a doorway and adds some shelter from the rain. its a one person job to build it but I'd recommend having assistance when installing it onto the wall because of its size and to make sure everything is level. Since it is all metal construction, I expect it to last for many, many years.

I got this for the front door of my house, as there isn't much of an overhang. It's about 8" past my door on each side, so it covers the entire door area plus some. The smaller size would cover a standard front door but wouldn't leave as much overhang to the sides. Assembly is easy, but lengthy, there's a lot to put together, so give yourself a good half hour to an hour just to put it together. Also, it's pretty heavy, and your odds of holding it up by yourself and attaching it to your house is pretty slim, so make sure you get a 2nd pair of hands to help put it up. It's easiest to measure for the proper placement of the holes and pre-drill them, rather than trying to hold it up and do it. Once it's up, it definitely does the job, and it looks great while it's doing it. Overall, I think it's well worth the money, just make sure you get a hand putting it up. 5 stars.

This awning is nice and it works great! We used it over the door at the front of the house to keep the rain and snow from coming onto the porch. It was easy to assemble, directions are clear and easy to follow. It took about 45 minutes to get it set up and attached to the house. I do recommend that you have two people to put this up, hubby was trying to be superman and and dropped it! It worked great to keep the rain out, provided a shade from the sun and it was well worth the price! We would and probably will order another one soon!

Awesome awning! We ordered this to use for our backdoor to help keep rain out of the house. We go in and out the back door more often than the front, so this was really needed. The 54x24 inch awning is a perfect fit for above the door, and it looks awesome, really spruces it up. My husband says it was easy to assemble and install, but I did have to help him hold it up because it was pretty heavy. Its very well made, solid, durable, and sturdy, and seems like it will last a long time. It has definitely made a difference, no more rain gets on the inside of the house now, so it does its job. We are really happy with it, and actually are thinking of buying another to replace our old awning on the side door, so they match. Great quality and worth the price, would recommend it.

Installing this awning takes at least two people due to the weight. This awning has a heavy-duty iron frame. It can be adjusted to your needs to keep the sun and rain out. The black awning has a nice aesthetic as well.
