It’s been a month now, and our house doesn’t smell like cat waste at all. Our cat was curious when we first set it up, but the box is smart enough to stop operating when she’s nearby, so it’s totally safe. No issues so far, and we only need to toss the waste every 7–10 days. It’s made cleaning so easy that we barely think about it anymore. The app is a nice bonus—it tracks how often she uses the litter box and even shows her weight. The price might seem high at first, but it saves so much time and effort. Definitely worth it if you want a cleaner home and less hassle.

I have both versions of the Meowant self-cleaning litter box, and this MW SC02 has quickly become my favorite. The wider opening makes it more inviting for my cats, and it comes with a pee guard, which is a much-appreciated improvement. Daily maintenance is incredibly simple, and the cleaning process is much easier compared to other brands I have tried. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be the lid that separates the waste from the litter compartment. In my older version, the lid eventually became slightly warped over time. When that happens, the lid does not seal completely, and a bit more odor escapes than usual. In some cases, waste that sits right near the closing point can prevent a clean seal, which adds to the odor issue. I have not experienced this problem with the newer unit, so it may already be improved, but it is something to keep an eye on with regular use. My second wish is for the app to notify when the waste bin is nearly full. My cats love this box and use it often, so it is easy to forget to check. A quick alert would save a surprise overflow moment. Overall, this is still a very good self-cleaning litter box. It has made litter box maintenance much more manageable, and I do recommend it for multi-cat homes.

This thing is awesome. Works great and the nasty smell is gone. My daughter doesn't do very well keeping on top of the kitty litter, this makes it much more enjoyable to use our basement living area where the cat box resides.

I am writing this to warn other people about dealing with the company meowant. Amazon, of course does a wonderful job with returns. However, this involved the other company and trying to get this litter box returned has been very difficult. I tried to contact meowant and they have no phone number and when I text them, I got no reply and it’s been five days I researched the company and they’re known for having horrible customer service, which I have to agree with them and then strong-arming people to give them a good review if they do honor any of the warranty please save yourself the grief and do not buy anything from this company there’s one I can definitely Recommend and it’s always the number one seller every place. This is definitely an inferior product. Very very cheaply made doesn’t even fit together correctly. At this time. I’m still trying to return it. Save yourself grief.

This Meowant Self Cleaning Cat Litter Box is amazing. It is my third self cleaning litter box and by far the best of the three. There is absolutely no odor, and the open-top design makes it easy for my cat to use. Changing the waste bags is simple and much easier compared to other models I have tried. My cat also does not track litter out of this one, which keeps the area so much cleaner. The low entrance makes it very easy for my cat to get in and out. I highly recommend this litter box to any cat owner looking for something reliable, clean, and easy to maintain.

It was really easy to set this thing up my only complaint is it doesn’t seem to be well suited for outside (and I was really hoping to avoid having a litter box inside) and it does have a smell. The little deodorizer is already failing like 2 weeks in. I’m going to look into alternative deodorizers to put in it. Overall though it’s functioning well and I love not having to scoop.

The media could not be loaded. Both our kittens and adult cat absolutely love this automatic litter box! I was worried they might not get used to it, but on the very first day they were already taking turns going inside. Now it’s become their “private space.” The self-cleaning function works perfectly, keeping it fresh and odor-free without me having to scoop every day. The design is sleek and modern, and it runs very quietly — even at night, it doesn’t disturb anyone. The size is spacious enough for our big cat to be comfortable. Although the price is on the higher side, it’s totally worth it for the convenience and cleanliness.
