I have a fairly hard matress in my house. I had actually gotten used to it but when my fiance moved in with me, she could not get used to it at all. I kept saying it takes time but after a few months she was still having restless nights and back pain. Where I live mattresses are quite pricey, and as this one is not that old I was looking for another option to save it, rather than have to buy a new one. This was it. The topper worked very well, makes the bed so much softer and even I must admit I sleep so much better. It is currently cooler here, and in the summer I do worry about it being a bit hot to sleep in, but we will cross that bridge when we come to it. Great purchase, and made my hard and somewhat cheap mattress feel much more luxurious and hotel-like. It is worth noting that every couple of weeks, you should remove the topper and fluff it up, either in the dryer or in the sun. My dryer is quite small so I just lay it over the porch railing in the direct sun for an hour or two, and that seems to do the trick. ... show more

I was worried since there’s so many mixed reviews, but I went ahead & got it & was pleasantly surprised at the quality of it. I have back pain (all over pain) from sports growing up & now working full time in healthcare. I added this ontop of my 3inch memory foam topper for a little extra Plushness & it has done well so far. I didn’t let it sit out the recommended amount of time but even for not doing so it still feels pretty nice.
