Update 4/6/22: After seeing my disappointed initial review, Marine Moon proactively reached out to me. They made it clear that even though my initial review wasn't horrible, they want their customers to be completely satisfied. They made things right. Excellent customer service. Original review -------- I've never had a pillow top bed before, but after research, I recently learned that as a side-sleeper, it's something that would likely greatly improve my quality of sleep. Since I already have my mattress, I decided to simply buy the mattress topper. First, I followed the advice of another reviewer, and I let it "air out" and expand for a couple days before putting it on my bed. It definitely is NOT 3 inches thick even doing that. It's maybe 1/3 as thick as the picture used to advertise it - at best - but it's comfortable. Second, as several other reviews have said, the elastic straps to "hold it in place" wear out and become useless after about two weeks. I've started using fitted sheets as a way to try to keep it from sliding around. I will say that it's true. Having this pillow top has been great for keeping from waking up with a sore shoulder, and it's also provided some relief for my back. Overall, this is ok, and would be 5 stars at half the price or if it was 3 inches thick as advertised.

I've had this topper for about 2 months now and I'm overall pretty happy with it. We purchased a new mattress a few months ago and unfortunately it was a bit more firm than expected. This topper has definitely made a difference in comfort. It needs to be fluffed about once a week and I suggest putting a protective cover over top because this thing would be pretty impossible to wash without really messing it up. I can't see it lasting more than a year or so, I've already noticed it hasn't been getting as "fluffly" after fluffing as it was when I first purchased it. But for the price, I think lasting a year is fair. Long story short: it seems to be pretty decent quality and it has certainly improve comfort and sleep quality.

I bought one. My husband has arthritis in his hips and a messed up back from a fall many years ago. I bought this for him after he kept complaining about waking up every morning, stiff and in pain. He kept saying it was too much money, but I had to do something. We did have to get bigger sheets for the mattress, but other than that, the results are amazing. It's so fluffy and comfortable! It's almost like your bed is formed to cradle you. I laid on it for just a moment -& now I have another one, myself, for my bed. I have severe anxiety that gets worse at night and a way to firm mattress for my liking. The way it's comfortable has this weird comforting effect like it's holding you and you don't get too hot on it, either ( I'm a major cold temperature lover). Love love love this product. Only hiccup (besides the price) is my husband says his bed is so comfortable now that he actually HATES to leave it! It's amazing!

I feel like every glowing review has to be a lie. This thing never fluffs up and has barely any stuffing at all. It feels like a cheap dollar store stuffed animal. If all you care about is looks, then sure, it has the appearance of a pillowy bed. But assuming you want to actually sleep on it and that you weigh more than a newborn, as soon as you lay on this thing any fluff it had gets squished into nothingness. It also feels very slippery underneath you as you move. Anyone who claims their bed feels like a cloud after using this topper must have already had a soft mattress to begin with. This topper isn’t going to magically transform an uncomfortable mattress into something worth sleeping on. What a waste of money, time, and energy.

A true plush soft mattress topper! This is my second one of these. Just replaced my previous one that I had for four years. I attempted to try different types of toppers including goose down and goose down with the chunks of memory foam. Neither gave me the soft and cloud like texture I wanted. This topper is it!! And good value for your money. The previous one maintained its shape and softness for a long time. And I made sure to rotate it so one side didn’t become too deflated. For the price, you should definitely give this topper a try
