This was recommended to me by another cat parent as they have two already. I really like the app as it can tell which cat is using the litter box by their weight and how often each cat is using it and how long each visit is. It sends you instant notifications as well. I’ve been using it for over 2 weeks now with 3 cats and there has been no issue with them getting into it or not wanting to go in it so far. I was worried as one of them is much bigger and tends to be picky if they have a cover, but she uses it just fine as the opening is pretty big. My other cat is picky about it being clean all the time and she will go outside of litter boxes if not to her liking. So far she has not gone outside of it and loves to use it as it cleans itself after every use. You can adjust how often it cleans and set a schedule on the app. Just make sure to empty soiled litter compartment often to avoid any mess from overflowing. It comes with odor absorbing gel pads to insert into the litter compartment and it also comes with specially sized bags to put into the bin. I recommend this as it is much quicker than scooping it all the time. It’s a great litter box.

I reluctantly bought this litter box for my new kitten. (Reluctant to spend so much money on a litter box.) Mainly, I wanted a box that my small dogs wouldn’t get into. I read 50 or so reviews, Consumer reports, Reddit threads, etc. I have been thrilled with this litter box! It was easy to assemble and there are just a couple of buttons for its operation. It’s sturdy, not too big, and super easy to clean. The only time we notice a smell is immediately after she poops. Then, it’s quickly swept away to never smell land. This litter box is well worth the money!

After a full month of using the MeoWant Self-Cleaning Cat Litter Box, I can confidently say—I like it! Pros: Easy Setup: The setup process was straightforward and beginner-friendly. Compact Design: I was worried about space since I live in a shared apartment and keep most of my cat’s things in my bedroom. Thankfully, the unit has a low profile and doesn't take up much more room than my previous setup. Smell Control: The difference this has made is incredible. No lingering odors—huge win. Time-Saving & Convenient: Not having to manually scoop is such a treat. I was out of town for a week and came home to a clean apartment without asking friends to handle litter duty. Cat Adjustment: My cat was a little unsure at first, mostly startled by the motion. I started with a delayed auto-clean setting to ease him in, and it worked well. Savings Note: I’ve already noticed I’m using much less litter, which is saving me money. A nice bonus! Cons: The App: The app functions okay for monitoring cleanings, but the weight tracking is inaccurate—it ranges from 3 to 6 lbs when my cat's actual weight is 11 lbs. Not a big issue for me, but it could be frustrating for households with multiple cats trying to track individual usage. Bottom Line: It’s a little bougie, sure—but it’s also a game-changer. If you're looking to simplify cat care, reduce odors, and save time, this litter box is worth considering.

This litter box works great. The setup was really easy as was linking to the app. The app has a couple features I love. You can set a time for the indicator lights to be off, which is good at night since my box is close to my bedroom. You can also put it in do not disturb mode so it won’t run at night. I did that the first night but realized it isn’t needed because the cleaning cycle is so quiet. You can also adjust the time for cleaning. I set the time to 10 minutes after my cat is in the box and that has worked well. I waited a week to empty the box and there was no smell until I opened the back to get to the bag. If you hate clumping litter like I do, know that you can use the mixed litter that is more like a pellet. I couldn’t find a review where someone used a different litter, so I just risked it and got a tofu mixed litter. I got the Petkit brand, because it could ship the fastest. The tofu litter works with this box well. I ran a manual cleaning cycle after I put it in, and there wasn’t any extra litter in the trash bag. I have also had zero tracking outside the box/mat after 4 days.
