Alright, so you saw the price and you're clinching up. You're combing through reviews looking at the downsides. Maybe you're like me and you've tried the raking style automatics, Breeze box, disposable boxes, clumping, non clumping, zeolite and 100 different things and you're just plain tired of scooping up crap and having the house smell like cat pee. That was me, I had this in my cart off and on for weeks, the price point makes me want to cry. So you're asking yourself is it worth it? My answer is yes. To the point that I DEEPLY regret not having purchased this much much sooner. We have a two cat household and one cat will only go in a clean box but never buries his own mess and the other is a fastidious scratcher and buries everything and then plays around continuing to bury. We've taken the one that won't bury to the vet after constantly using the floor as a toilet and they always said the same thing; more litter boxes, more frequent cleaning. At one point we had 4 litter boxes. Not kidding. All they did was have pee wars in each box on an individual basis and I was still smelling pee after a couple days. So I tried the raking automatics, they stuck or didn't stay clean or too much trouble. The tumblers are appealing, and I seriously looked at some of the $700 and $800 systems, but couldn't swallow the cost. Something that costs as much as a laptop for cats to do their business in? Not for me. This hit on several things, and the price was only slightly terrible. Setup is easy, the app is easy, I noticed almost right away that the liners are the same size as 4 gallon trash bags, so I just get those instead of the namebrand liners. I can change this as often or as little as I want and it stays clean and no smell. I'm not thrilled with the deodorizer but it works alright. From a safety perspective, it shuts off if anything gets too close so that's fine. Noise is almost non existent but both of our cats have been fascinated with watching it work, so they seem to know when it's going. Setup is a breeze, I went ahead and setup the app but it's really not necessary. It's been interesting watching the fastidious one; she keeps going in and looking around like she has work to do and seems surprised when she doesn't. The slob loves how it's always clean, he's been using it a lot more lately but also goes in and looks around and quickly leaves. We've been able to fairly quickly phase out the other litterboxes and I gave away a raker along with some advice to the neighbor that took it. She only has one cat so it should be fine. We're down to this and one Breeze style box, I'm only holding on to that to make sure the transition is complete. With two cats, I'm back to a weekly cleaning schedule, and I feel pretty confident we could go two weeks. I did get a higher end clump and seal litter after reading reviews, but even that's been totally worth it. It forms nice hard clumps so there hasn't been any issues at all with the filter or smell from the bag. I got a 38 pound box, filled it with about 1.5 pounds of litter, so in theory I have at least a 6 week supply. Keep in mind those clumps from the bag mean you need to add more litter and the suggestion is to swap the litter once every week or two. I also got some litter box wipes to wipe down the internal touch surfaces, I've set a reminder to swap out the litter every two weeks and wipe down the interior touch surfaces. The machine even makes swapping litter easy, just have to insert a cover over the filter panel and cycle it, all the litter goes into the bag after the system rotates. Just get it, I promise you'll love it. The good news is that I've gone from being the only one in the house dealing with poop patrol to everyone wanting to pull the bag out and replace it since that's really all you need to do.

I was nervous when I made purchased this litter box as I have a couple of larger cats. I was pleasantly surprised that the litter pan was the same size as my old Manual litter box. I was a little worried when I purchased due to some of the less than 5 star reviews. Here is the break down of the Good and Bad of the littler box. Good size for 18 to 20 lb cats. Easy to set up. JUST follow the instructions. I had no issues downloading the app or getting this to connect to the wifi. I do recommend setting the time delay for litter clean to 2 or 3 minutes to make sure liquid is clumped properly when using. AGAIN this one only supports the 2.4ghz for wifi. If you are above that or do not have router that had dual band this will NOT connect. Do fill this to or just a little above the max fill line for litter. This seems to work the best. When litter starts getting low it doesn't always catch and clump all of the liquid wast. So keep an eye on litter levels. IF litter is less than 1/2 full in pan doesn't work very well for liquid waste. Very easy to clean. DO keep up on cleaning. NO waste has streaked where it slides into dump bin. I was worried about this. This is very quiet. Cat's don't mind it at all. The bad: The bin does rock/tip a little to the front when my 18lb cat gets into it. Luckily it doesn't scare her. She is using it fine. Wish the actual waste bin would catch all the litter that does dump into. It does a good Job but little particles of litter do get down and around it, so when you change the waste bin bag, you do have to take the bin out and vacum those little particles out. I think company should look at having a rubber seal around the bin to prevent this. Yes this is easy to clean but would be even easier to clean if the drum came apart in two pieces for easier hose down etc. Overall this is worth the money and works well. This is 4.5 to 5 Star product. JUST TAKE your time setting it up and following the instructions.

A more affordable alternative for a whisker litter robot. I have not had any issues with this robot even after a couple months. The only gripe I do have is that the trash compartment is kind of hard to clean as the litter kind of gets everywhere inside the compartment, but with some clorox wipes its not too bad but you will get your hands dirty and it is best to clean out your robot every weekish. It takes me probably about 10 minutes to change the trash and wipe everything down, it is easier though because im not bending down fully and only slightly leaning (I'm 5'10 for reference). Its honestly way more preferable for me than scooping out multiple litter boxes every single day or even multiple times a day sweating and breaking my back. So for it to cut down to once a week to every 2 weeks cleaning for 10-15 minutes is really a time saver and not too bad at all. The litterbox traps the smell quite a bit but does start to stink as it gets close to being full (reminds me to clean it though). The quality is pretty decent and honestly nice. Usability and stability is also nice and have had no issues whatsoever. I have only had some spillage of litter when the trash has gotten too full. The noise level is not bad either, I have it on a 30 minute timer for the clean cycle and I can hear it when it goes off but its more of just the clumps falling into the trash that is loud and the litter sliding into the compartment, otherwise its very quiet.

I have been using it for 3 months now and am totally impressed with its performance and value. It totally contains the odor with its sealed bin and is large enough to not have the waste hit the sides, even with a larger cat. It does not leak, is very sturdy, and quiet when running. I have 2 cats and only need to empty the bin every 5 or 6 days. The bin lid does require a little wiping when cleaning the bin, but a few wipes do the trick. I have recommended it to multiple friends with cats.

I purchased this automatic litter box hoping it would reduce daily maintenance and make life easier. After several weeks of use, I can confidently say it did the opposite for my household. First, every cat has different bathroom habits. Mine always urinates in the exact same corner. Because of that, the litter doesn’t absorb the urine quickly enough before it reaches the bottom of the unit. The result is urine sticking to the base, requiring me to manually scrape and clean it almost every day. If I’m still cleaning it by hand daily, the “automatic” feature loses much of its value. Odor control was another disappointment. I expected the automatic cleaning cycle to keep smells under control, but once the weather became warmer, the odor built up surprisingly fast. Even when emptied regularly, the smell was much stronger than with my traditional litter box. Missing a single day of maintenance made my entire balcony unpleasant to use. Litter tracking also increased noticeably. My cat often leaves with litter stuck to its paws, and I found myself vacuuming much more frequently than before. This was unexpected because I assumed an enclosed automatic litter box would reduce tracking. The unit is also much larger than it appears in photos. It’s tall, bulky, and difficult to place neatly in a room. If space or appearance matters to you, keep the footprint in mind before purchasing. The ongoing ownership cost is another factor that isn’t discussed enough. This system uses a considerable amount of litter to perform properly. If you reduce the litter level to save money, urine isn’t absorbed as efficiently, which makes the previous issues even worse. On top of that, the proprietary trash bags and deodorizer cartridges are expensive, and in my experience, the deodorizer made very little difference in controlling odors. Ironically, after switching back to a standard litter box, the smell on my balcony improved, litter tracking became more manageable, and daily maintenance actually felt simpler. The only advantage I lost was the ability to leave the litter unattended for a couple of days while traveling. I can see this product working well for some households, especially if your cat has ideal litter habits. However, if your cat consistently urinates in one corner, or if odor control is one of your biggest priorities, this automatic litter box may not deliver the convenience you’re expecting. For me, it added more maintenance, higher operating costs, and more frustration than convenience, so I cannot recommend it.

I don’t get paid by this company, honest review! While it is a spacious litter box with very nice features and quiet technology, keep in mind the design still creates a big need for daily cleaning. I’ve had 2 other automatic litter boxes before, this one is by far the smelliest. Let me explain. I’ve used every cat litter on the market (I’m a manager for a pet store, very knowledgeable on products) so it’s not the cat litter. (I only have TWO small cats by the way) I tried two types of litter with this robot, Boxie Pro clumping clay litter and Catit Pea Husk litter (my personal favorite). Came to the conclusion that pea husk litter works best with this litter box because it clumps so perfectly. Clay litters tend to make tiny clumps of urine that are hard to scoop and the rakes in auto boxes don’t scrape the bowl well, leaving lots of small urine and poop clumps in the bowl. Leading to a smell if you don’t scoop it yourself (pointless right?). The BIGGEST reason this litter box stinks is the compartment that holds the waste. If you take anything away from my review, it’s this: if you have more than 2 small cats, you need to clean and wipe out this compartment daily. As in every day or every other day. I clean it about 1-2 times a week and it gets so dirty, so smelly very quick. Standard litter boxes don’t even get that smelly if you skip the scooping for a WEEK. I’ve had top load boxes, ginormous open boxes, every litter box on the market I’ve probably tried it (except stainless steel). I will attach a photo of what it looks like after 4-5 days. For reference, this wasn’t an issue with other automatic litter boxes I’ve had, I believe it’s the design of this box. I also don’t free feed my cats, they get 2 meals a day and they don’t overproduce in waste. They don’t eat lots of wet food (which causes more pooping usually) so they are on a very strict diet I would say. If your cats eat a lot, this waste basket will get nasty quick. Not to mention, the waste liners can only be purchased on Amazon. I made the mistake of running out and I used some dollar tree bags in there, chaos. Poop everywhere. Anyways, I love this litter box for the convenience and value, but I hope to encourage the purchase of a different designed waste box.. I would recommend buyers to look into those automatic boxes that drop the waste below the box and don’t rotate it upwards like this one does. Side by side of the PetSafe one, which I liked but it was too small for one of my cats and the other cat played with the raking part as it would clean (got rid of it for that reason) but it collected the waste below and didn’t smell.

My only regret is not buying this sooner! For context, I have three furball friends. The newest addition is a purebred Mainecoon who at one year old, is bigger than the other two. The size is great and not having to empty the bin every other day is such a gift of my time back, hence my regret of not buying this sooner. It is not cheap and I am exceptionally frugal but this is worth every red cent. It’s very quiet, there’s no big step or a second purchase you need to make for a separate step because of its design. I’m using less litter than I was before (scoop away clumping litter) which is obviously a cost saver as well. All of my cats adjusted to it no problem. Set up takes minutes. I couldn’t be happier with this litter box. And considering some of the automatic litter boxes are $600-$700, this isn’t a bad deal at all.

This is a wonderful litter box! I love the low entrance step for my older kitties as well as the large interior! They took to it right away! I tried another box with a much higher step and they wouldn't go near it. I initially had some issues with litter clumps sticking to the inner hood of the drum and also muddy streaks, so I had to manually wipe down after each use. Doesn't work out too well if I am traveling. I first gave a review with 3 stars because of this issue but I did not want to give up on the box since my kitties were using it so well. I was quite impressed that the company reached out to me and offered to help correct the situation. They sent me a fine mesh filter and once I received it, I cleaned the machine well, installed the new filter and most importantly, I changed the brand of litter from Arm and Hammer Slide to Boxie Pro. It is now working beautifully! The Arm and Hammer Slide works well in manual boxes but not so much in this particular box. Boxie pro is very good, though it is a heavier litter because it is clay. Heavy litters can be hard on the motor. If your cat will take to the lighter litters, you may want to try them. The Boxie Pro clumps very well and the box stays clean. Thanks to the company for reaching out and caring. I like this box so much and will be ordering a second box in the near future. It is my first automatic litter box and has been a real game changer! Worth every penny!
