Just installed these yesterday. I'm not certain how well they are going to hold up. The Good - Liked that they were easy to assemble and not too heavy, which helped with the installation. - They provide good cover for our windows. The Bad - We have siding, which one would not think would make installation difficult but it did. We installed these on two windows and a door. It was difficult to get the front to be level and to have them all aligned. - As someone else commented the plastic on these are very thin. I'm not sure if these will hold up with heavy snow or high winds. - They left a rather large gap between the house and the awning so I expect when it rains, we will still get wet when going out the door. We attempted to caulk the crack but it a half to three-quarters of an inch wide. I do not expect the caulk to seal well or hold up for long as it is not meant to cover that wide of a gap. ... show more

The awning has potential with modifications. It simply slides together, with only friction holding the panels in. So after picking them up off of the ground after a wind storm I reassembled it and used a clear adhesive sealant to completely seal it together. It is working great after that. Also, the included hardware are concrete anchors, I used heavy duty hollow wall anchors and lag bolts to secure it to the wall. ... show more

Don't waste your money! Difficult to assemble, didn't include good instructions or any mention of what tools we'd need, flimsy and looked like it would fall apart with the first stiff breeze.

I ordered two of these. Same size and color. Let me start by saying I could get stronger plastic and materials at the dollar tree buy purchasing Tupperware. The item itself and manufacturers quality is complete garbage. Weak. Flimsy. Thin. Unable to be used for anything. On top of that, the packages arrived the wrong size and color and most importantly SEVERELY DAMAGED. I URGE YOU SAVE YOURSELF SOME TIME AND MONEY. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.
